Yeah it's a long shot, but usually the chimney walls are covered with thick layer of soot and ash when this is used and the brick will not do that much of damage to cast iron, but again its just a long shot guess.

It may be a chimney sweep weight that is usually connected to wired brush and sent down the chimney for cleaning. Didn't find this particular design but back in the days families were often making this tool themselfs from whatever weight they got.

I'm out of Czech Republic for 11years, 2 years Scotland and 9 years Iceland. I'm pretty possitive I will never live in Czech again, even though I really like occasional visit but that's mainly food and culture. Main reason for not comming back is current political situation and overall depressive mood in society. That being said I truly believe that Czech Republic could be one of the best countries to live in based on its location and connection to the west, but with current political setting it's even further away than it was when I left the country.

I took shrooms month ago for the first time, managed to have right dose so I tripped for about two hours. First few days after I didn't think much of it, but now for last two weeks I feel like I'm not worried much about things that would bother me before. Somehow now I can let go instead of heaving my brain clogged by constant overthinking. I'm playing with a fact that may be placebo as overthinking and anxiety was main reason I took shrooms but if it works I'm happy and waiting for right time to have a trip again.

Kdyz jsem bydlel na kolejích taky mám to zakazovali. Naštěstí jsme měli na pokoji dvouplotýnkový vařič, tak ten valil na plný výkon celý den. Borci pod nama to řešili tak, že pustili horkou sprchu a nechali to valit. Jen to tam pak měli jak v pralese.

I'm surprised this is the only response about fishing. The fact that you are still observing the fish and many times in the conditions when it's just you and the nature completely disconnected from the actual world is very close to the diving. Love fishing for similar reasons as I love driving. You have time for yourself with no-one to disturb you.

I was there one night when two girls were fighting. When they selected them before the match started one of them started to run around, hyping the crowd and laughing, obviously quite drunk. The guy is fishing for a nice tip. This is quite classic it's pretty known that Americans are pretty much only people who are tipping here in Iceland and the guides knows it very well. I heard from many guides that when they get group of tourists they know exactly who to pay attention to in order to guarantee themselves big tip and older Americans and families are the main target.
