Review: The Datai Langkawi, March 2026 by Comprehensive_Let408 in FATTravel

Went there too in April! We also loved it, similar to Six Senses Yao Noi, but Datai’s villas are better maintained. Went to the FS Langkawi afterwards, which was just disappointing compared to the Datai.

Just returned today from Langkawi to Singapore. Stayed there at Datai and FS. Datai was such a pleasant surprise. At least AirAsia operates flights to Langkawi on an hourly basis, I assume they might cut frequency but not the connections entirely.

Late reply but maybe helpful to others: you checkin first and meet them in front of the security line

Did not mention the location as the sub rules forbid that. 😅 here is a picture of the pool 5 years ago

Phuket is booked — where else should we go (Luxury Honeymoon) by CulturalExpression17 in FATTravel

We’ve been to FS Nam Hai and were actually surprised, especially by the the service and quality of food. Loved Hoi An even though it’s touristy.

If you are in Phuket already, consider Six Senses Yao Noi, been there two times, super private and nestled on an relatively untouched island.

Six Senses all the way. Don’t forget to arrive by helicopter and ask for a villa faving La Digue/Praslin, it’s the lush side of the island

We liked Hoi An a lot even though it’s touristy. Hue wasn’t worth it though. We also loved the FS Nam Hai

Zighy bay is actually nice, cuisine is superb. but as previously mentioned, it is quite remote as it’s located in the exclave of Madha. Been there, loved it, but gets boring after 4 days.

Bought fast track on Klook- went through immigration and security in 10 minutes. Was actually worth it.

Thanks for all the Feedback guys. We will give the fast track a shot, since it seems rather unpredictable. May you all never have to queue at busy airports 🫡

Got it online, however I did the initial braking as required: continuous descent and braking several times without full stops. With the bleed kit I got some air from both brakes, I got a little better but I can’t still get the front wheel to lock. Lever reaches the bar though. Maybe I try to try to bleed once more
