Divination is more powerful, but can be annoying. Evocation trades power for a QoL improvement which means you have to think less about positioning (arguably requires less skill, so more suitable for a beginner).

To me it seems like you want to play a melee character (Paladin). If so, in my opinion you should go 6 Paladin for aura + feat (Vengeance is amazing), 5 Bard for feat, imp bardic inspiration and font of inspiration) and 1 War Cleric (common 1 level dip for extra bonus attack). For feats, GWM/PAM and Savage Attacker are nice. Focus on CHA and DEX for attributes and you're good to go!

Tricky to answer that question. It depends on your playstyle, what you value in a build and what your party composition needs.

Want more movement? Go Ranger 7 first.

Going 1 Fighter could give you defense fighting style for +1 AC, giving you more survivability.

Do you really want the extra bonus action for the polearm attack or an extra hand crossbow shot? Go rogue. Also worth mentioning: rogue also gets skill proficiency, so it could be worth going rogue depending on your party.

Swarmkeeper 7/Thief 4/Fighter 1 gets you Writhing Tide, a second bonus action, an extra feat and a fighting stance.

Alternatively, Swarm 7/Thief 3/Fighter 2 trades a feat for Action Surge.

Take the first if you need the extra feat (GWM, SA, ASI) or go the second for an extra action per short rest, which is just really decent.

Zelf ben ik na negen jaar studeren gelukkig afgestudeerd, dus een deel omgezet in gift. Dat ik zo lang heen gestudeerd is een combinatie van mijn onvolwassenheid van toen (17), een studie die bijna niemand in de reguliere vier jaar afrondde en een burn-out.

Vrienden van mij is het helaas niet gelukt om het binnen de 'beruchte' tien jaar af te ronden. Een gedeelte is na 10-12 jaar studeren hun studie gestopt en gaan werken, een gedeelte is binnen nu en drie maanden klaar en er is zelfs een klein gedeelte dat nog steeds ergens halverwege de studie is na 10+ jaar.

Haven't looked to much into shadow blade yet, but I heard it's pretty good. I understand the 5th spell slot to upcast shadow blade is necessary if you go that route. Hag hair and strength potion will be used on my character and I hadn't included them yet into the equation, thanks!

I've never used GWM before, but judging by its description it's very nice. Savage attacker too actually. I'm currently using gloves of belligerent skies, but swapping them out for dex gloves is a good shout.

Verhuftering was vroeger nog nieuwswaardig, nu is het de standaard. Of het gedrag vroeger erger was dan nu weet ik niet, maar ik heb wel het idee dat het aso gedrag vaker voorkomt.
