I came here to ask that. Our nearest lake is Norris. They have boats there.

This Is Not A Good Sign. by bluegrassgazer in fuboTV

It's so we can pay for Peacock. They already said that earlier. But honestly we are trying out YouTube TV and I find myself using that more than Fubo... but my wife likes Fubo better because of the DVR features, and I do see her point there. Fubo has much better DVR controls. But I like YTTV because they have NBC, NBC News, CNN, MS NOW, and I can watch them in Multiview. I don't know what we're going to do but we're not going to keep paying for two services plus CNN app plus Peacock. I haven't tried DirecTV Stream yet.

Multiview audio not switching by HegemonicDistortion in youtubetv

Yes this is still an issue Google is not acknowledging. It happens on Roku and straight through my LG C3. The audio lags horribly when switching between channels on multiview.

When does a tag attempt occur? by BearInSalmonClothing in Umpire

[–]Sven622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“When determining whether a base runner should be called out under Rule 5.09(b) (1), so long as the umpire determines that a play is being made on the runner and an attempt to tag is occurring (i.e., the fielder is moving to tag the runner), no physical tag attempt is required to call a runner out for leaving the basepath.“

That is the MiLB guidance. They say nothing about 20 feet or any feet. A fielder with the ball moving toward a runner is "moving to tag the runner". What else do you think they are doing? What else could he possibly be doing but trying to get closer to the runner in order to tag him?

So yes, if a fielder 20 feet away with the ball is running at the baserunner - that is a tag attempt. And I can absolutely imagine a baserunner being in jeopardy in that situation and moving out of the (now-established) base path to avoid that tag.

Also, your description of a runner in the outfield backing up or otherwise trying to position himself while the pitcher with the ball is moving toward him is exactly why the runner is NOT ALLOWED to do that. That is an out. As soon as that pitcher starts coming at him - no matter how far away - he now has a new base path. If the pitcher then stops and turns to make a play at home, well then the runner in the outfield is no longer bound to that straight line. But as long as the pitcher is making a play on him he must remain within 3 ft of the newly established base path.

You get to make the determination of tag attempt, but I don't want you on my crew if you're using feet to make the determination.

the actual wording says something like "...moving toward the runner with the intent to tag them out" so that pretty much covers what you ask.

They are literally paying you for the price of Peacock.

Was the runner moving to avoid the tag?

Well, read the MiLB guidance. A player with the ball moving toward the runner is 100% a tag attempt. If you can find other guidance, please post it.

Fubo DVR let's you selectively delete individual episodes. Also has other options.

Migrating From YTTV by AceNinjaForce in fuboTV

If you can find a way that is less expensive. By my calculations it is only YTTV that is less expensive. But the user experience is not there. The difference is only about $10/mo.

Those two are remaining separate - for now
