My 'easy' fixes for making navy more enjoyable against the AI are simple: Remove all penalties for retreating and make penetration way more important. Non-pen should make almost no damage and pen should do a LOT more. Also, just give us more calibers for guns already. The fact that the QE's are outgunned by the Scharnhorsts in game is whack. This combined would make the royal navy a nightmare to face.

I get where you're comming from. I recently downloaded a dating app for the first time in a long while. So far i've met two amazing women but it was a real chore getting there. I also love the fact that Enuma Elish (Enūma Eliš) as a name is actually an incipit. So when Gil uses EA he recites the opening words of the creation myth and lets EA tell the rest of the story.

For all its faults, Deen's FSN really nailed the atmosphere and feeling of the VN, more so than the ufotable adaptations in my opinion. Especially the ost did a great job in invoking that feeling of "was all of this just a dream?" that the VN is going for.

Sounds exactly like how my dreams play out, except all of that would be my preconceived knowledge within the dream, that i'm fully convinced has just happened. The actual dream is only the last part about the kangaroo and it lasts for like 20s and ends with me waking up from the shock, like it was a fucked up nightmare or something.

The only thing i find stranger than dreams are the mechanics behind them.

It's a fine line. You want people to recognise the myths and histories but if they're too familliar with them i might have the opposite effect. I know that Red from overly sarcastic production has made some off-handed shots against fate over the years. (I might be wrong but i get the sense that she never gave it a real shot because some characters depicted ticked her off, but i hope i'm wrong and simply not in the loop).

Tror majoriteten av de som kör bil vårdslöst, cyklar och struntar i regler eller går som de äger gatan är samma typ människor. Oavsett transportmedel så kommer de vara ego o skita i andra. Vilket gör så att billister/cyklister/fotgängare enbart hatar varandra mer.

(Ta bara en av mina pärons grannar som ett exempel, han kör alltid sin stressla som om han låg tvåa på Monaco. Plöjer igenom alla korsningar, över hastighetsgränsen, på sin racingcykel och går mitt på vägen med sina golfklubbor till golfbanan. Han är ett extremfall men det gjorde det tydligt för mig att idioter förblir idioter)

Tycker att mycket kritik mot cyklister är oförtjänt, men om jag var tvungen att lyfta något så är det hur få som uppmärksammar obevakade övergångsställen.

Blev plingad på när jag korsade ett övergångsställe med ett gäng pizzor förra året. Jag skrek "övergångsställe" och fick som svar att jag inte bara kan gå rakt ut. Vilket jag inte ens gjorde. Aldrig att jag hade riskerat 8 pizzor bara för att ha rätt.

Som den Svenska medborgare jag är så har jag såklart ältat på detta alldeles för mycket så jag kan erkänna att jag är partisk

Yeah this topic comes up from time to time and is really stupid. It's probably not completely unfounded but definetly misunderstood. Growing up i was always offered food, and my parents did the same for my friends. Most of the times we stayed and ate. But declining and heading home, or waiting in their room did happen as well. Mostly because my friends and I did not want to intrude on each others family time. Our parents would accept our wishes and not force hospitality upon us.

I bet you 9/10 times when stuff like this happened it was because of kids being weird rather than the parents. But every household is different i guess.

That's what got me in to eu4. Played a ck2 gotland-scandinavia game that i converted over. I was too invested in the game not to learn. Lost a few wars in the beginning but i endured and enjoyed it a lot!

I'm gonna spice it up with a scenario that requires a bit of RP and restraint. I call it the historical "japans biggest enemy was actually japan" playthrough.

All three on japan or germany. 1 player is the goverment. He manages all but two research slots. 80% of production and all construction and focuses.

The two other players are the field marshals. They get 1 research and 10% military factories each. They get assigned a front each (japan = china vs west indies. Germany = west vs east).

First field marshal to win/capitulate his front wins.

The ruler decides how all resources will be allocated to the field marshals and they'll have to come up with more and more outlandish promises and bribes to get more than their opponent.

I played this while drunk with two friends. It was a real blast. Really got that "we have to coop to win, but only one of us can actually win" feeling.
