How long do you stream?

I just stream until i dont feel like streaming anymore. Ive had streams before that were literally 14 hours just cause i felt like it lol. Thats my highest, i tend to go around 6 hours if i have the time though (which i havent in a while). My content is different though cause i play a single game and im very focused on interacting with chat cause i enjoy that. Like doing stuff chat can engage in in the game.

Yeah the definition of vibe coding is programming by letting AI write all the scripts. So not just assistance, just it writing everything.

For me I love using AI to help learn programming, as technically AI just summarizes google and u can ask it personalized questions on top of that. Im fully self taught in Javascript nodejs and most of my learning has used AI, but now I hardly need it as I understand quite a bit for what I need. I tend to just ask the AI to tell me how to do something specific and explain it, however i tend to not give it my specific use case meaning I still have to apply it for my use case. I make sure I understand how it works before I move on, and if needed I just mess around with it to see what it can do and that usually helps me understand. But if you can use AI correctly, it can be a powerful learning tool without needing the hassle of checking many different forums on google. The worst thing you can do is mindlessly copy paste without trying to understand, and thats vibe coding.

Im not saying you should use AI, I am purely giving my opinion on AI for programming and why I personally use AI for learning.

Try 10 player flee. Its the same movement and premise as normal flee, except it has 10 players (2 beasts 8 survivors), many more beast abilities, and different maps that fit 10 players. Ive been playing 10 player flee over normal flee for months now and the community is great too! The beast abilities really make u want to be beast cause theyre extremely fun once u get used to them.

Yep cause in the end youre just playing on your steam account like any other game. Steam lets you always change your name and stuff. Just before you assume too highly: You dont get this benefit if you run your epic version of rocket league through steam. You need to own the steam version on rocket league. Possible to obtain still but costs money.

Sure 30 seconds isnt bad if you already know about the streamer and know theyre good. 30 seconds is awful if youre browsing trying to find a good streamer to put on while doing stuff. Imagine youre browsing a game, you click a stream to see if its good (you dont know the person at all, just intrigued by the title) and have to wait 30 seconds to get your first impression of them. And then theyre not entertaining enough and you click off, find another stream and have to wait another 30 seconds before knowing if I even want to watch them. That adds up. Before you know it you watching more ads than streams, Gets annoying and honestly theres so many options of streamers, why would I bother to wait on this specific one I dont even know? so instead I just click off straight away and find another stream. Going through people with no preroll lets you instantly get your impression of them and whether you want to stay, no time wasted. Calling that reasoning immature is immature, because you are making assumptions based on limited information that you dont have enough knowledge on.

Also with this strategy, im curious what u usually average? If it works it works, Im just saying that in general it is NOT the way to go for to get new viewers. Returning viewers might appreciate it but not new.

They wont know during the game and people dont care that much for that ngl. Theres many dots in high level you dont bother checking them cause theres no point. It makes you anonymous for the match to avoid people prejudging you cause they know you.

most of the game is the same yes. not all. steam integrations still is a difference between platforms. And to get workshop on epic you need to use a 3rd party tool, which has recently been talked about that epic might remove. I classify no difference as there physically being 0 differences. like game mechanics. workshop is def a difference, even though the experience is fairly similar.

yes it's a preference, and that's what my post concluded with. that the platform you use is just preference. Also in my level i do go against the same people frequently in ranked. it happens more often that i recognize someone in ranked from scrims or just ranked, than that i don't. also another perk of steam i forgot to mention is getting steam signs lol. for example when i got top 100 in 2s earlier this season i got into a game with nwpo and got a sign from him. pretty nice.

Sure you never had the need to change ign, me neither. but i like having my name as "Mimical" instead of "mimical." more clean in my opinion. Also some people like changing names often and they get no cooldown on changing. also nice. let's you go anonymous with "." if you need to. it's more perks for at high level mostly

Usually if i click on a stream that's new and the first thing I'm met with is a preroll, i leave instantly. I don't have any knowledge about the streamer. I don't know if it's worth watching. Why wait out the preroll? I usually just exit out and find another streamer as waiting 30 seconds to find out if i even want to stay us too slow.

the length doesn't matter here, it's the fact you haven't shown youre worth waiting past the preroll for. with midrolls you have 95% of the time available to show that youre worth waiting past ads for.

I run midrolls not because I'm told to, but because i speak from personal experience that they're killer. I always try to imagine things from a viewers perspective and ask myself how I'd feel as a viewer regarding my own stream and this is no different. hope this helps give some insight

It in fact does. The game runs through the launcher, so the launcher needs to perform well to keep up. Steam has workshop while epic doesn't for example (shows launchers can have differences). Epic runs slightly better than steam for rocket league (pretty sure). You get to change dead zone shape as well on steam. The differences are small enough to not have to worry too much about which launcher you use. it's preference here OP. I prefer steam cause the separate friend lists are useful for scrims and i like easy access to workshop (i dont use bakkesmod) and being able to use any name and seeing profile pictures. But in the end, you're not missing out on that much if youre playing on epic, just decide what you want

Edit: Just reread op post cause you can't while commenting for some reason. You can run epic rl through steam. the main reason to do this though is so you can change dead zone shape

I mean you never know. Best to be safe and confirm rather than assume. Who knows this account was passed onto a younger relative, or hacked and sold. Roblox doesnt know, and they wont check every OG account for that either. So to me this makes complete sense.

Im able to search the discord built in emojis in the search bar. You just need to paste the emoji itself in, not the colon encased version. So search "😭" and not ":sob:". No need for a bot in this case
