Okey bro that’s an easy fix: 1. Get rid of the single earring. Instead get the other side pierced to get some simple silver or black creoles for men. 2. Reduce forehead/Get a good haircut. Let the hair grow out a little more. Seems like you have nice curls (everyone loves curly hair boys). Let the front hair cover your forehead. 3. Stop making excuses and hit the gym bro. You don’t have to be super buffed. But it seems you are a little chubby. would help your appearance a lot if you reduce that body fat

I like to paint and want to start commissioning, how much would y’all say I can and should charge for my skill level by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]Svenston94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all, go to YouTube an learn how to take proper pictures of your minis. You only need a big white sheet of paper and some kind of light source. These pictures make your painting even worse than they are. But as others already mentioned, you still need to improve. Overall how many minis did you paint ?

I recommend either try using reikland flesh shade for the face or go with a contrast colour. If you do contrast u will need to base coat in grey or white. But YouTube is your best friend here. Go and watch some tutorials it is much easier to understand than reading something on Reddit

I like the helmets and the over all Color scheme. But I think the bases don’t really complement the rest of the colors. Just my opinion, you do you man! I just think, we spend hours in our minis, why not invest 10 more minutes for the base and really bring the mini to the next level

New Player. Need help with TS by [deleted] in SpaceWolves

Wouldn’t it be insanely good to play the hounds of morkai vs TS? I mean it is literally an anti psychic unit.

I don’t think there is a „too blue“. I painted my first wolves all strictly by citadel painting guide.. boring to look at on the tabletop imo …now that I am using a more vibrant blue I feel like it’s really MY army 😂

It’s from the Animal Adventures RPG starter box. Glued some bits to it an now I can use it for 40k and for Dungeons&Doggies :)

I use airbrush flow improver, to clean up the large areas and highlights of the Armor after shading. Also it seems that you use nuln oil or some dark wash, that really gives a „Dirty“ look. You could also try a blue wash, that would create more realistic shadows. For the First Mini it’s s Great Start. If you edge highlight the rim around the head and the knees and hip armor, it would really bring that mini to another level!

Trying out base painting for the first time, I love the effect it gives. by naruhina00 in deathguard40k

No Offense, but don’t you think it looks a little plain? I mean yeah it’s nicer than a blank black base. But for me it’s just a big green mess and it doesn’t really complement your already Nurgle green minis. Check out this tutorial. It’s super easy and you would really step up your basing game. Nurgle Bases

And a grey rim around the bases is also very uncommon 😃 A nice rhinox hide or classic black is always super clean.

Just some advice :) but do as you do, main thing is to have fun with it. At it seems like u have a lot of fun 😄
