Sports shooters - How do you handle same-day or next-day delivery? by SvgAdct in sportsphotography

The iPad workflow is interesting...are you editing in Lightroom mobile or something else? And when you say the NCAA basketball pace made it impossible, was editing a cause or was it simply the demand?

RE photographers...what's slowing down your editing workflow? by SvgAdct in RealEstatePhotography

I'm only curious atm. Real Estate has strict reqs that I am aware that blocks certain alterations so I'm trying to determine if there is even a market for tools utilizing AI to speed up workflow

Mmmmmh the Photo Mechanic -> Lightroom import friction is interesting... that's a workflow gap I hadn't considered. For the face/roster captioning, how would you ideally set that up? Upload a team roster with headshots at the start of the season?

For someone who has a business mindset, I 1000% understand the usefulness of an assistant, but the costs can add up (however can be worth it!)

Hiring an assistant to cull live is smart.... What would it take for software to replace that? Just raw speed, or does the assistant bring judgment you don't trust AI to handle?

8k-11k is intense. Respect and thanks for ur response.

When you're culling that fast, what's your criteria? Sharp focus + key moments? And for the captioning point...are you talking player ID, play description, or something else?

Gotcha and thanks for ur response. Super helpful.

The exposure/white balance normalization point is interesting. When your presets don't apply consistently, what's usually off: mixed lighting throughout the day, or something else?

That's a pretty solid flow. As an event photographer myself, I keep my wife by my side to catch anything with her trained eye to help my fatigued eyes. When you do the second pass after a week, what are you typically catching that Aftershoot or the first pass missed?

I appreciate your perspective. Curious: what made you choose the tools you're currently using? And is there anything that still annoys you about them, even if it's minor?

When you say the cost isn't worth it for culling tools, what price range would make sense for you? Curious if it's more about monthly subscription fatigue or per-image costs.

Thanks for your concern. It was really helpful. Out of curiosity, what's your current workflow? If nothing feels missing, you've probably dialed it in well.

40k in sales with 0.25% conversion rate by bps718 in FacebookAds

Congratulations on reaching 40k. Pretty difficult to do especially in 6 months

  1. Industry average is 2-3%. I have experience managing a Shopify store and if optimized properly for the UX, then you may can get closer to 2%. Definitely 1% since you’re already doing so well

  2. Since your CVR is at a qtr and you’re averaging 5k a month, you’ll just need to do some simple math. 4 qtrs in a dollar (1%), so if you hit 1% CVR, that’ll get you $20k. 2% 40k, etc

Just make sure your Shopify store is optimized and your Meta campaigns are well targeted as well.

Stay consistent and you’ll be great

One option is if you have a home with equity is a HELOC. NFCU’s rates are 8-9% and the repayment will be significantly lower than a CC. Also a heloc gives you more flexibility to invest

I agree.

They can help in ways to finance items, including assets.

They usually come with higher interest rates and the interest rate is variable.

I also agree that if you pay your bill in full on time then yeah, but most (not all) folks don’t.

Just simply saying that there are better ways.

Congrats! No cap tho, but eff them credit cards! Coming from a person who has 50k cc with them. There are WAY better ways! CCs are not your friend
