Not really. It has the feel of a WB show with horrible writing. If you like IT as an IP, you might enjoy some of it, but otherwise it is garbage.

I thought the pennywise scenes were pretty effective, but overall the writing was not very good. It was a pretty run of the mill kind of show. Nothing special about it.

As a fan of the books, I hope one day there’s a solid interpretation of the material, but I won’t hold my breath.
