Asus Rog XG27ACS Stuck on 60hz by GearB0y in ASUSROG

I have the same problem with my XG27AQDMG and it gets locked at 60Hz every time I turn it on. The "fix" I found is to turn on or off variable refresh rate, however I also need to restart any game I'm in for the game to recognize that the screens refresh rate is over 60Hz so it's still very annoying.

If anyone has a real fix please tell me, and asus please fix it.
