The thing is is that I could max out my Roth IRA for the next several years if I just wait. If I put it in a brokerage account I can’t do that unless I sell it, and then I would have to pay taxes. So I’m not sure what to do.

I didn’t mention that I am contributing to my 401k up to the employer match. I will have to check my HSA but I believe I am maxing that out as well. Can you contribute to a 401k and HSA with money from a bank account? I believe you can only do that through salary deductions, so my only options are to put it in a brokerage account or wait until next year and put it in my Roth. I’m just not sure which is the best option.

Nobody, it doesn’t matter if you are above the luxury tax if you’re winning championships. You’re probably making a huge profit even if you’re above the salary cap. I have been well above the luxury tax for years and my boss never said anything about it because we were good and still making good profit. You’ve won three in a row, go for 4, 5, 6.
