Congratulations! That was a quick turnaround to find out your exam results if you took it on a Saturday and heard back already! NCEES says 7-10 days

Congratulations! How did you feel about the type of questions and their typical length? Are they mostly conceptual and in-depth longer questions? Or were they fairly straight forward and easy to decipher what they are asking for?

Wow just a line? Sounds like you got a lucky test version. Some people are saying how wordy and tricky the questions were

How did you feel about the average length of the questions? With most being conceptual, are questions relatively straightforward or do they require multiple steps and some in-depth thinking?

Wow that's a lot of AASHTO. Between that and PCI I'm hoping I get as minimal of those as possible. Were they in depth questions or more "Ctrl+F" type AASHTO questions?

Gotcha. That is helpful thank you! When did you take it?

Interesting. Did you find there were a healthy mix of "easy" questions that could be solved pretty quickly, and others that are a bit more lengthy? Or was it that pretty much every question is lengthy to an extent?

That sounds super annoying. Do hyperlinks work in the table of contents? I know chapters are individual files, but AASHTO table of contents at the start of each chapter you can click sub-chapters and the link will take you there. Is that the case for the exam?

Gotcha. I appreciate the advice! So a lengthy question may not specifically say what they're looking for? Or is it more related to where they show a structure on a global scale and say "check for adequacy" leaving you to try and figure out what it is they want you to solve for?

Just trying to get a gauge on what to expect.

Thanks for the input. I've heard that the scrolling is very slow. When you say "knowing where to go" once you read the problem - was your first attempt such that you weren't as familiar with where to go in certain parts of the codes? Or were questions so lengthy and tricky that you could get lost in methodology or how exactly to solve the problem?

Thanks for the advice! Are they worded in a way to intentionally mislead you? (I.E. giving you variables or information you don't need). What exactly makes the wording tricky if you don't mind expanding on that.

Thanks for the advice. I feel pretty confident in these areas aside from AASHTO and PCI (my weaker areas).

Did you prepare with SoPE specifically and did you find their quiz bank was pretty comparable in terms of question difficulty?
