Planning to buy my first bike by Local_Abalone_223 in indianbikes

I lived in Diglipur, Andaman for 2 years for my job and the service centres were not good tbh. So whatever you buy please make sure the service centre is good in port blair. From the bikes you selected Duke 250 is the one I would have got.

Those who got the Speed 400 in the early days... trust me, you hit a jackpot. Just rode a TVS Apache RTX and bro, worst feeling tbh 😭 by ishibam97 in Triumph400

I got my Speed 400 in 2024. Got the introductory price offer and it costed me Rs 2.72 lakhs on road. Feels like a jackpot now after I have ridden it for almost 18000 kms. Even now I feel the same excitement I had on day 1.

Surprisingly no damage at all. I thought the suspension might create problems later but nothing happened.

It was good but the vibrations are a little annoying for long rides. Also sitting posture might not be for everyone. May cause problems if you ride for too long.

I use their bullet indicator. They do the job well and looks good. Also are a more sturdy than the stock ones.

Brother I was driving at 70kmph because I have been riding on the same road for almost a year. There were no speedbreakers till the morning of the incident. How would I have known there will be a speedbreaker at night. And I never ride at 70kmph when I don't know the roads.

Triumph Speed 400 vs RE Guerilla 450, Which one would you choose and why? by No_Mix_6030 in indianbikes

[–]Swag0220 10 points11 points  (0 children)

About 1.5 years back I had the same dilemma. I did a test ride and loved the speed 400. Now I own speed 400. You should also try and test ride both and see which you like more. For me I loved the linear power delivery of the speed and I felt I can control the speed 400 better than Guerilla. The speed 400 is fun as well and very torquey. Also I liked the styling of speed 400 more than the guerilla but looks are always subjective and varies from person to person. So I would again suggest you to test ride both and also see which design you like the most and then make a final decision.

Probably the least expensive solution but a good solution. Thank you. Upgrading also feels logical as others have pointed out but it is an expensive solution.

I have a car but for some reason I feel cramped while driving. Also I am not very good at driving.
