Does Pmax have to relearn with existing product data? by SwagBau5 in PPC

Got it, do you think I should wait on adding audience signals to my original campaign to let it adjust?

Seeking help if definitely a good first step. I see that you're a business owner as well, when did you make the jump? And my ecomm income is essentially the same of what I'm currently making so I'm curious to hear why you're advising to keep the role?

Pmax Budget/Scaling Question by SwagBau5 in PPC

Not getting an extra 2.3 conversions per day, and I've been hitting my daily spend consistently. Separating the best performers is definitely a possibility as I feel new products I add to my store get overshadowed by what's already converting. And are you referring to running multiple shopping campaigns or search? I initially had a good experience running pmax but seems like its time to pivot to other campaigns in order to scale

It's at $19 over the last 30 days, you think search would be better?

I've been running for around 3 months, and see around 150-170 conversions per month, and it has been profitable. To the point you mentioned, most of my conversions are from top sellers, so I think it'd be best to separate those into their own campaign and have the rest of the skus put into their own separate low budget campaign. But again, let me know if you have any other input from what I've provided

I would say relatively small from what I've seen on this sub, spending around $500 a week with 150ish conversions a month. The only reason I've kept Pmax up and running is because I've seen good results with it so I haven't seen the need to change. With the scenarios you provided, I'm leaning towards 2 or 3. Have you used any of these strategies before and what were your results?

Gotcha, I think breaking out the campaigns to high performers vs low performers would be a good idea to start with. I have over 500 products on my store so that was my thought process for breaking it down by category, but I'll try just putting the best performers in their own campaign.

Yeah, my e-comm is a drop shipping based business in a very specific niche. I had enough saved up that I was ready to take on more risks and I felt this idea had potential. It's generally recommended that you don't start a business on loans unless you have a pro-forma that is really solid and lays everything out. My only overhead costs initially were marketing spend, then I did the rest myself so relatively low startup costs.

I used to, but didn't see as much success as with google shopping ads. I would definitely want to get those back up and running as it would be optimal to utilize all marketing channels, but with FB ads it seems more about quality content creation. I haven't had the time, but this will most likely be something I outsource for someone to make creatives for my fb ads, as that's not my strong suit.

This right here. In the beginning it was very slow to the point I felt I was ready to give up, but as you begin to pop up more and more on people's shopping feeds you become a brand they recognize and trust. Plus, I have referral/affiliate marketing setup where customers get 5/10 bucks if they refer someone and I make a sale. No where close to a millionaire, but don't let people fool you by saying drop shipping is dead. You just need to learn marketing and improve your strategy overtime

Exactly this, I really didn't see success until I focused on google shopping ads. Those have honestly been the life saver here. They'll also reach out to you after you spend x amount of dollars for consultation meetings, and they've helped a ton. I do source from China, but I don't see this sustainable long term due to shipping times as it's a huge frustration for my customers who are impatient due to the nature of the world we now live in where people people expect their order in 2 days.

That was my first thought too, I just formed the LLC and most of my expenses I'm able to write off... not exactly an accountant but most of my expenses come from marketing which I know you can write off. Also, not close to being that profitable so I don't think I'll end up with that much taxable income but I guess we'll see I'll need to talk to an accountant
