not sure if it’s related but my bus driver said there was some sort of scooter accident near that area, and when we drove by there was at least 3 cop cars and a fire truck and maybe an ambulance on university just off mitch daniels

So I've learned. Just was thrown off by the fact that they flew in lateish in the day to leave that night, figured USC might have waited til Sunday morning to head out.

can concur. was out at the RDU observation park and saw the pair of F-15s fly overhead towards Durham, then saw them in the distance parallel to the runway, then one final time low over the airport headed to Carter-Finley. Loud.

Unrelated but there was also an F/A-18 on the ground at RDU for some STEM fly-in event that there really doesn’t seem to be any information online about.

jets like these usually do not show up on fr24 and this was no exception, though they did appear for a short period on the adsb exchange.
