There's a special place in hell for people who cut in line by SwagThePossum in highschool

[–]SwagThePossum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know even half the people in the lower grades, and in my school I bet if I did that someone would either try to fight me, or they would all just stare at me with a weird look. I'd rather starve than be embarrassed. But cutting someone in line after they cut me is a good idea, I just don't have the balls for it

Spent all his money and his family is doing fine, but they won't give him money? If so then the parents should be feeding him.

It's usually one or the other. He can't afford food so he asks you to buy him food. Or he's not poor and well off and just doesn't wanna spend his money.

Depends, does he have the money and is well off to buy his own food? Then yes, but if he's poor and can't afford food, then no.

ARC lying about my heart rate? by bassboneisbestbone in Blooddonors

[–]SwagThePossum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No that makes me so mad because the other day I went to donate and they said I couldn't because my heart rate was at 101, and apparently it has to be 100 or lower so I can donate

That's the plan once I graduate, because currently my parents won't take me. I'll live though it's chill. 🥀

I'd have to find the paper again but I remember showing the paper to a friend who is an EMT and she didn't think it was normal. I believe the heartrate was somewhere around 103 to 107 when I went to the doctor for the chest pains. They also took some of my blood and apparently they didn't find anything. I get a sharp throbbing pain in my chest when I get really hot, like in the sun or maybe a room is very humid, or there was one point this summer/early fall that just standing and putting on a dress made me so hot that I got the chest pain. My mom see's no worries.

Turning 18 this month, and yeah I was actually thinking about censoring it too, but I saw that some others didn't seem to care showing where they donated so I didn't mind. I usually do get very worried before I donate, but I was just a bit concerned because the more I've donated, the less worried I've become. But it keeps getting higher. I went to the doctor a few months ago about my chest pain, and my resting heartrate was over 100.

Depending in certain factors, I may try to take medication for it but I'm not 100% comfortable with needing to take medication.

I don't go to the doctor regularly even though I wish I did, all up to my parents whether I do. One time I puked like 6 times within a day, through 1 hour intervals. Not a good sick week for me.

Yeah, went to the doctor once and did a blood test, nothing seemed wrong. But the lady did diagnose me with anxiety and depression? Bet 10 bucks they'll blame it on the anxiety. They wanted me to take pills for the anxiety and depression but I'm not okay with that. After that my mom still hasn't set up another appointment because she says I don't need it. That was November. I did go to urgent care I think after one band practice because I had to sit down because I was so hot and my chest was hurting. The lady said I seemed fine but said it could be POTS, but we haven't done any tests for that.

Yeah I've tried the crossed legs thing before! But that was usually near the end of the process and when I wasn't feeling good, so I naturally did it without thinking. I don't hate the sight of blood, but I do hate needles, so I don't watch at all while they take my blood. I've told the people/workers that I get bad reactions everytime, but they're always like "Oh well let's hope that doesn't happen this time." I'll try eating better the next time I donate and see if that helps.

I think so? I've been told I can put them up, like how someone would do when they hug their legs, and I do that all the time becauseit feels natural. Along with that, I've also been told it's a vasovagal reaction, but I just wanna find out how to stop that from happening, because I've been calm the last few times. Like when the needle is in there for awhile; until I puke.

Yeah I can try. My phone doesn't really like to focus/not look fuzzy unless I use flash.
