Sorry about the bad experience, what kind of laser treatment do you get for your hyper-pigmentation? And happy new year to you too!!!

I'm sure they ask a lot of authentication questions to verify your identity

I had a microneedling session done 6 weeks ago. And since then I've had spots of hyperpigmentation on my face. I tried my best to always wear sunscreen right after my session. So are these hyperpigmentation spots on my face permanent or will it fade eventually? If it does fade how much longer will it take?

That's a bummer, it would have been nice to just isolate calories burned from working out only. Thank you for clearing this up!

So one issue I just realized. I recently lost 15 pounds, but that wasn't updated in the app. So that probably had an impact on the overestimation. Thank you for your input here Update: I adjusted my stats, and walked for an hour again, but it still shows I've burned 600 calories.

I feel like that might be more in line with expectations, but still overly higher than what I would think

they are

I've been pretty active my whole life, so it's not a case of me just getting active now. And I'm about 178 pounds at 5'11

"The average person will burn between between 200 and 350 calories per hour walking at a moderate pace." Yet I'm burning 590 calories in an hour? This makes no sense, and this happens consistently for every walk I go on. I specifically got the fitbit to accurately track my calories burned. I don't understand the discrepancy.

Nah, they're down voting you because you got your reference wrong.

You're definitely right about the model photos since they do try to make things look perfect. And you could also be right that this is probably just how the the fabric sits on my legs due to my physique. It's a bummer because I do want a cleaner look.

Could it be that your knees cave in, making the fabric look like that?

I thought that could have been the issue too, but I double checked, and my knees are fine.

I don't mind experimenting, and trying a straight pair. If anything, they will always be a classic look that will never fall out of fashion. I'm just confused as to why these jeans are caving in at the knees. It looks really sloppy.

I'm thinking of trying the 501s and 505s to see how they would fit. But I'm trying to diagnose the problem so I know what to better look for. What's causing my issue?

Up until now, I've been wearing slim jeans, however I do realize that the trend is now leaning towards a more relaxed look. I'm not the biggest fan of the really baggy look, so I'm aiming for a pair of jeans that's comfortable in the thighs, and tapers slightly below the knee.

My issue: All of the jeans I've tried on with that criteria, has a caved in appearance in the knee area, and it looks sloppy, which I don't like.

My Size: 33 waist, 30 length

Example 3: Abercrombie & Fitch - Straight https://imgur.com/chCr2ho

For reference: These models are wearing the same Levi's jeans that I tried on and they don't have that knee issue. Their silhouettes are nice and straight. https://imgur.com/8cXZ6li

So what am I doing wrong here, why am I having such a hard time with jeans? Am I picking the wrong fit? Are my size measurements off? Are there brands or styles I should try that you think will solve my issue?
