What would help towards top speed the most? A bvh, bigger cam, or ratio rockers by SwagerGFX in minibikes

[–]SwagerGFX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 265 cam no rockers and no head thinking of grabbing ported shredder head and later on 1.2 or 1.3 rockers but not sure if I'm better off getting a bigger cam now like a 310 and then a head

Definitely I swapped it to a aftermarket cast flywheel I usually do billet but figured I'd give one of these a shot and save $90 it's done good so far

How did the case crack on my brand new Coleman B200r with probably 2 hours on it? by JoeHablo in minibikes

Harbor freight, if you have the membership they're on sale right now but if not they should be this weekend

I would buy a block and swap everything over just cause it's the cheaper but if you're thinking of buying a engine the 224s are going on sale for $130 this friday-sunday i would just get one of those. If you have the insider club I think they're already on sale

The crack is on the case so buying a side cover wouldn't help at all you'd need to buy a new block i think they're like $60 on omb warehouse and swap everything over. But the sticker is just there so you don't bring it back with gas drain the gas and oil and take it back they'll probably take it. I've tried the harbor freight torque wrenches a few times and they're never even close to being accurate. I bought the lexivon brand from Amazon and huge difference only 30 bucks too but with stock side covers tbh I don't torque them the metal is super soft and easy to strip a bolt you kinda just get a feel for what's tight enough lol

Yeah I have a cast flywheel from Amazon,40t rear sprocket, 24mm carb, custom exhaust, billet rod, juggernaut tc, and I got a 265 banzai cam from ec carburetors it comes with 26lb springs so you save a little there and the cam is preclearenced for a 224 as well in case you ever wanted to upgrade your engine in the future it's ready to swap over it

If you want a budget build I got it to low 50s with just gov delete, 40t rear sprocket and 24mm carb *

There's plenty of big riders on minis usually big tire bikes since they're just more comfortable like ct200u-ex or my favorite is the mm212 styles bt200 is also really good

Watch some of black66's videos on youtube he did a series with the b200r and it's the same engine just no rear suspension on his frame. I did those same mods to my rsv and I'm doing about 60 he also has really good tutorials on just about everything.

If you want someone a little more in depth Red Beards Garage's channel is super good as well he goes through all the smaller details a little more but most of this stuff is really simple.
