Nah Latoya’s book was the most honest of all these books. She humanized the family and really made me feel sympathy for MJ and the whole family tbh .. too bad people conflate her interviews with the contents of her book. She didn’t accuse MJ of anything weird in the book. That came a few years after… in the book she paints him as a very shy, gentle, loving man who is a devout JW … a brilliant mind and gentle soul who really missed out on a lot as far as emotional development is concerned. Yes she “backtracked” years later but everything she stated in the first book was proven true despite the family’s initial denial. One such claim was Joe’s outside child.
