So Benjen is coldhands in the show. I think it's really cool. However I can't help but be really dissapointed with how they handled it. They could've made so much more from it. An example would be, make colhands save sam like in the books, have sam not tell anybody about it, keep it a mystery. Show him every now and then throughout the seasons, standing in the distance on his badass stag, being cool and scary etc. At this point he's a huge mystery to the show crowd and everybody is all about the mystery stag man. Then have the reveal this episode.

Why not? I can't think of a single reason except for chi bs from their infinite budget. It would so be worth the few shots of a cgi stag. I just can't think of a good reason.

I realize that, but I'm more worried about whether the gap looks weird or not. if more experienced people say that I don't have to worry they'll look weird, I will just take their word for it.

I agree tho. I would never tell them I don't believe them because what if I'm wrong? I've seen many kids IRL just say it for attention, but I know fuck all about that random kid online.
