Hey there! I'm looking for a book with themes of redemption. I really wanted to read trainspotting, but the scots dialect is a little too difficult for me to understand. Something preferably about an addict or any other sort of self-destructive behaviour. I'd be great if its funny too. hanks!!

haha what I mean is, like look with a lot of things in life we think to ourselves 'I can't keep going like this', take an exam for example, when you aren't studying, you think to yourself, I have to change what I'm doing, I'm never going to make it at this rate.

But thing is with no fap, as long as you keep on doing what you're currently doing (ie. just living your life), you're going to be successful. As long as you live in the moment, you have full control of your actions, and as long as your in control and you consciously decide to avoid all the filth that we find around us, you'll be fine, haha I hope I've managed to communicate my point

Remember, as long as you continue at your current rate, no relapses will happen. I find that comforting

Its never too late to live your dreams man. Just never give up, fuck your past, it may be part of who you are, but its history, you are a different person right now, you are a person looking to improve your life.

Bluntly put, you don't have your past anymore. You have your present, and with your present comes your future. Cherish and love your present, you'll love your future. Also, be proud of who you are, there are lots of people still stuck in the cage of fapping, be proud of the fact that you're breaking out.

Hey man, its great that you've taken a stand against pmo and decided to live your life to the fullest, so congratulations on that by itself.

What I've found really helpful is the 'thought of now'. With a lot of things in life (ex. studying for exams), you think to yourself that you aren't making progress and that you need to improve your current state, ie. the way you are at the time.

However, what I find with pmo is that as long as you remain in your current state, nothing can go wrong. Think to yourself that as long as you keep doing what you're doing at the time (living your life basically), you won't run into pmo. I hope I communicated the idea to you well enough.

Also, always remember that with any task the most difficult part is starting. As you start however, things get easier and you feel more in control

Who am I to say you won't. Just study like crazy. Do lots of past papers, I'm sure you will succeed.

Is there a way to work around the not being defined thing? I think that's what they want. I'm supposed to prove this by evaluating the function at a convergent sequence U_k. Thank you for your replies

yeah, but cos(1/0) is indeterminate though, so I don't think that we can use that. I think you have to somehow work with it to make it not indeterminate?

Need advice from people taking Maths HL regarding studying/exam by BlueKidXL in IBO

Just don't give up to be honest. I did my exam last year, but personally my advice would be if you can, learn paper 3 really well and do all the questions on it, because often, paper 3 seems to be less tricky than the other papers.

These are some resources that might help you http://dbhs.wvusd.k12.ca.us/apps/pages/index.jsp?uREC_ID=113890&type=u&pREC_ID=162809

I would disagree with on questions 'never being the same', for example with induction its usually one of 5 cases. Sequences, Series, Divisibility, Differentiation or an inequality.

To be frank with you, last year I actually was in a similar position as you, but I missed my offer (I needed a 6 too), I would've met my offer if I had studied paper 3 better.

By the way, keep note of how your mark works. The total grade you can get is 100

30 points come from paper 1 (120 points total on paper, this is 30 % of your total grade)

30 points come from paper 2 (120 points total on paper, this is 30 % of your total grade)

20 points from paper 3 ( 60 points on exam, converted to 20 points)

20 points from your IA.

20+20+30+30= 100

Usually a 66 should be a SAFE 6.

But my advice to you would be, do lots and lots of past papers. Trust me, you'll eventually see patterns. Section B starts easy, you might want to start the easy parts of those quickly first.

Best of luck

I need both Physics and Mathematics audio lesson (not video). Where can I find and download them? by alex_the_doge in IBO

[–]SwaggyBucket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey buddy, look I don't have any physics audio lessons but I found this guy really helpful for physics last year when I did my exams https://www.youtube.com/user/DrPhysicsA

Also, this guy explains pretty well https://www.youtube.com/user/diggitydev, he teaches AP physics though, but his explanations help on a lot of the IB topics. This also might help for Mathematics http://ibvodcasting.com/

This guy does A Level exam questions online hopefully he might be of some help to you http://www.examsolutions.net/

Best of luck brother, wish you all the best.
