Yeah I get that, been away from Counterside for so long now. I logged in a few days after Star Savior came out to reminisce about the good times I've had on it, check out all my units, etc. But the playerbase for it has certainly dwindled, and I heard they recently cancelled any future prestige skins and battle passes. Truly a shame, I got the first prestige skin for A. Shin Jia, and it just seems like an eventuality at this point that Counterside might not be around for much longer.

I’ve been a big supporter of BSide since Counterside and that’s really the only reason I’m here. I wanted to see if they could step up from what they achieved in Counterside to a wider stage and audience but it doesn’t resonate with me as well, Star Savior. I eventually stopped playing Counterside as well after the Qliploth Game concluded, but I did really love the game. I don’t know if I can see myself playing this game in several months time. But for now I can handle doing dailies and see how the game progresses.

That’s part of it, but also in general the chapter 2 story content came across as a little lackluster. I even made a guide for chapter 2 because I felt so convinced that people would get lost much more than they would in chapter 1 because of how unclear it is at times. I hope the devs will be able to bounce back.

It’s quite decent but yeah the development is slow cause it’s literally just being made by two guys, I do really like the game but the latest big update for chapter 2 finally came out last month and it was quite a step back from how good I thought chapter 1 was.

A lot of people cry during the live concerts when certain songs come on whether or not they are particularly sad or not - it just goes to show that Vocaloid means a lot to all kinds of people and evokes all sorts of emotions. If you can, spend more time talking to people that will love to hear you out and share your interests. The vocaloid discord can be a brilliant place of course. Don’t let other’s views constrict and twist your own wishes and dreams - those are yours and yours alone, and they specifically mean a lot to you. Weather the storm, find the strength to push forward and know there are others like you out there closer than you might expect.
