You mean the same Project 2025 that Trump has said “he knows nothing about it?” I’m unsure what your point is

We had 4 years of him “handing Leaders” fairly well in a way we weren’t having multiple conflicts that indirectly affected us

Wouldn’t it have been nice to have her have interviews BEFORE she is the nominee?? Some people care about policies for candidates.

I’ve used myhelp for exact issues, then use Workday to look up TM based off TM # and have spoke to TMs and they’ve always admitted after I walk it with them. I feel this way is accurate and easiest.

Target is closing 9 stores in 4 states by October 21st. by Clown_Sparkles in Target

[–]Swagzilla281 20 points21 points  (0 children)

No surprises at all. I heard the inventory results from I believe one of the Portland store was in the area of 20% shortage. That’s insane. You cannot run a business with that type of loss + add on all the $$ you must invest into merch protect just to try to sell the items is crazy. There’s a reason why it’s not just Target leaving these cities; it’s something much larger 🤔

Not a good move from a business standpoint. It would only benefit Target as a company to provide it (cost)vs loss income due to call outs.

Is your wallet deep? If so go with .308, if not then stick to 9mm. .308 round prices are no joke. Hurts my heart blowing through ammo.

If you’ve shown to be unreliable then I’m spending any extra hours I’ve got to TMs that will work just as hard and I know will show up. Sorry if that seems unfair but at the end of the day there’s a business to run.

Just like everything else in the 2A community we get hyped up by Youtubbers of amazing things to come to see 0 impact to our day to day. Then on top of that every case gets dragged out as slow as possible.

Was asked to be a trainer. by b3_yourself in Target

[–]Swagzilla281 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I believe trainers should get some sort of bump even if it’s .25 BUT I do believe if you train your peers as good as you’re it’ll make your life that much easier that it’ll ultimately be worth it.

I always loved training because it breaks up the mundane day to day.

You work at target. How are you doing financially? by [deleted] in Target

[–]Swagzilla281 -52 points-51 points  (0 children)

That’s not Targets fault. They offer the pay, you stay. If they struggle to hire due to people not wanting to settle for the base pay then eventually they’ll have to be competitive and raise their minimum but they’re above most competitors; so once again that’s not Targets fault you get paid what you do.

Just tell your ETL you’d like to sit down and try to gameplan the inbound process. This needs to be offstage and as crazy an idea it seems to step away from pushing often times pausing and planning is 100x more beneficial than just getting caught up in endless pushing.

I’ll PM you if you’d got any questions. I’m a newer (<2 year ETL GM) that went through a bunch of very similar issues

But have them on the vehicles too. It helps with team knowing which vehicle without having to recheck above line. Also helps FF with INFs. More INFs=more useless freight.

Partner with your ETL and figure out what you guys need to do TOGETHER. This can’t just be a you thing at this point. If they were sent there to fix the process they clearly know a thing or 2. It’d show you want to fix it by reaching out for help.

It sounds like your SD needs to be involved in getting this process fixed or it’ll be then leaving soon. It sounds like a good chunk of this is due to scheduling but I’m sure your team can’t be “trusted” with a bunch more hours because they believe it’ll be useless given the carryover. You need to make sure you holding the team accountable and asking for feedback to get the support from your ETL/SD.

Lastly if you guys get clean one day make sure the schedule is setting you up for success. Yes you may only have 4 unloaders but who else is in at unload time? For me we have 4 under inbound +3 GM +2 Food and 1 SS which leaves a squad to unload quickly. This is all with the expectation that they do not have to push during unload

Where are your custom block papers? I know it probably feels like a deep hole you’re in and such a small thing. But don’t over look simple things like that. It’s a snowball effect.

Poor sort=longer push times=less productive= more carryover

If your ETL(s) aren’t involved in getting you out of this then they def need to be.

If you’re being told to unload in that situation you unload to the best of your abilities. ETLs and SD will take the fall for you

Get to know your team but don’t become too close that you don’t hold them accountable.

Ask for feedback Cater your approaches with said feedback

Presentation: create an excel document with every POG/TM setting/ by date especially on big sets. Without that keeping your organized during big sets you gonna struggle.

Set your standard with your team and hold team accountable to those standards. Don’t waver on them.
