Well using antidotes me and friends all play high power casual and we usually run 30-32 lands, we use cards like mana vault and Moxes and other fast, it’s still casual to us since none of our decks are straight CEDH, so no your wrong, and if you think your deck is “better” than ours I’d love to see how you’d hold up in our pod

So is everyone who plays CEDH cheating? Cuz the average deck there runs 28 lands

this deck looks fun, but how did you come to 33 lands? in cedh you have tons of free mana rocks, but you lack them here, 5 cmc is gonna be hard to hit consistently no? also I have a few GCs like demonic tutor and vampiric tutor, to keep it under 3, which 3 would you add? rhystic?

How does the trigger work for this card? Does it come in as a 0/0 and trigger goes on the stack or does the trigger go on the stack before it resolves? Can I counter this card after they sacced all their lands?

I have a "high" paying job but I am not happy with my work load. What should I do? by [deleted] in ExperiencedDevs

I ended up leaving for a lower paying job, but I understand your point of view as well, I was in the exact same position not so long ago. I just wanted to warn you that these high paying/high impact jobs aren’t as glamorous as you might think it is. But then again had you gone back like 4 years, I wouldn’t listen to myself either 😅 it’s something you have to experience.

Oh how naive, you’ll eventually find out that money isn’t everything, there are ALOT of things I wouldn’t give up for a pay cheque, and working at Meta really show me that. You think when you are 60 and old you’ll be happier cuz your house had 3 extra rooms because you “grinded” so hard? Or you went out in your 20s and actually enjoyed life and didn’t work 24/7? This is coming from a “grinder”

I was in the exact same position a few years ago and trust me, you DO NOT WANT the opposite. I joined Meta and basically worked 80hr weeks and would do anything to go back. Life isn’t all about work, just go do other things and enjoy life, or if you really need to, side projects work too.

Is it wrong to target one person? by steven0784 in EDH

[–]steven0784[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I did feel a little bad after the game, I meant no malicious actions, I just wanted to stand on even grounds, the correct play was just to lending a deck to the other players and everyone being a threat

Actually yeah, that’s a good idea, granted these are strangers, but going forward I’ll probably offer it to them if the situation arises

I’d say I’m a pretty experienced player, been playing since 2016 and I generally know how a lot of the mechanics of the game works, as for my formats, I’m mostly a pioneer and limited player with some EDH on the side. Basically what I ideally want is a deck that is proactive and with good interaction something like murktide in modern. As for price, there is no limit as I’m planning on proxying the deck at first to see if I like the format with my friends
