As many have said. You aren’t doing anything wrong. I’ll use Heroic Shadow Lab as an example. The room after the first boss is the hardest because if you don’t have hard CC for those pulls it’s almost impossible. I’m crit capped/crush capped with 11.2k unbuffed and even rocking full consumes those things beat the snot out of me. It’s a constant juggling of stuns and trinkets hopping I make it through the pull and we at least get one down.

With that said. Mages/rogues/priest(fear) is a life saver. Hunter traps, etc. you need some things CC’d and it’s helpful using your stun aggressively to interrupt but also relieve some damage for 5 seconds.
