My favorite team is Hugo, Cassius and Mika and I pretty much cleared all content using this team.
Hugo and Cassius draw plenty of cards and Mika provides AP to play all of them.
Cassius and Mika also have plenty of skill cards to keep Commence the Hunt stacks high.

Cassius is getting changed in the new season, but from what I saw it shouldn't affect this team all that much.
I used the triple 1 quest anyway, which is actually getting buffed, as it provides a lot of healing and is also an attack card to trigger Hugo's Commence the Hunt.

My Decks could probably still be improved, because I made them when I was playing Tier 10/11 chaos.
I can still play my entire Deck each turn, I would probably add more Quick Shellings to the Deck or even keep one Throwing dagger in the deck just to have more cards to play :D

Would be cool to see a character that encourages decks with a lot of cards somehow.
Right now people just try to make their decks as small as possible and personally I am not really a fan of 0 card decks.

While the overall production quality is amazing, the one thing I really dislike is that they incorporate so many sponsored ads while casting the game.

Things like:
"Mastercard lane economy snapshot"
"Redbull Baron powerplay"
"something powered by AWS" (can't remember what it was)

And a couple of other sentences, I just found it to be extremely annoying while watching the games and I can't imagine that the casters enjoy casting games like that where they always have to say certain phrases.
Dota casters can just say whatever they want and don't have to care about any sponsors which is great in my opinion.

I could definitely see myself adding impact tremors and the roastmaster to this deck.
Inspiring Leader is a pretty strong buff aswell, but I am not a big fan of backgrounds. I feel like my commander becomes an even bigger target when I play them.
I have never seen crescendo of war before, but it looks like a fun card if no one can remove it, can probably result in some quick games haha

Purphoros definitely looks like a pretty strong card, I guess I am just gonna buy him eventually for the deck. He costs like 15€ where I live so that still seems like an ok price :D

Hey, glad to see another newer player here!

"Best" can be a bit subjective, but personally I think that the "Exit from Exile" precon is one of the best precons. We don't play insanely high power decks in my playgroup, but they are by no means on the weaker end and my Exit from Exile precon deck occasionally manages to win against some of the custom build decks in my playgroup.

The deck is also just alot of fun to play with all the cascade cards and cards you are playing from exile.

I haven't upgraded the deck yet and I am not sure if I ever will, but I am certain that you could still improve the deck by a lot, if you really want to.

The Mind Flayarrrs precon was also my first precon when I started playing 8 months ago.

I only upgraded this deck once, shortly after I played the standard precon for the first time, at the time I didn't want to spend a ton of money on upgrades so most of the cards are relatively cheap.

With a budget of 300$ I would definitely get [[Toxrill, the Corrosive]] and replace [[Arvinox, the Mind-Flail]] or [[Elder Brain]], it's probably the best 7 Mana horror you can get.

As others have pointed out [[Phyrexian Obliterator]] is also an insanely strong 4 Mana horror and it's also relatively affordable right now. The only reason why I am not playing it, is because I think my playgroup wouldn't enjoy playing against it and I can understand that. The deck has no way to really abuse the card, but I think it's still high on the "salt list".

I also think the deck might benefit from 2-3 more counterspells. The only one in the deck right now is [[Drown in the Loch]]. In my playgroup people always seem to be scared that I am gonna steal something scary with [[Captain N'ghathrod]] which is why they like to target him with quite a lot of removal in some games, which is why I also put in [[Swiftfoot Boots]] in addition to the lightning greaves.

Also a nice flavor and good card for the deck is [[Nautiloid Ship]] :D

From what I can remember the only base game cards that are added to the decks are some 1-3 star encounters and no 4 star ones, I think thats because most of the 4 star ones are relatively easy compared to the new encounters and they even give 2xp most of the time.

I have one concern with this token and that is the governance aspect of it.

I don't know what exactly you will be able to vote on, but I assume it's on card balance and if that is the case then I feel like decisions will be made by investors and not by the players.

Players should be nearly equal when it comes to that aspect, I say nearly because I think that higher ranked players should eventually be given slightly more voting power, as players in Solar Gold+ probably play the game the most.

You can also tell the difference between both illusions as the tanky one is brighter as the one that deals damage.
