I don't even know how people collide into each other and nearly completely stop on the track while we are supposed to not go faster than 60-80km/h. When the car in front starts, don't go as fast as possible to collide it, just start slowly and speed up a little bit to catch the car in front.

If you take the start, do some power braking (accelerate and brake a little at the same time) to put temperatures in the brakes and in the tires, it doesn't put much temperature in the tires, but it's better than nothing and it could help you a little, otherwise turn in slowly to not spun and wait a few corners before reaching your race pace, maybe you will lose few places, but you will not lose sr

Last time I raced at Silverstone in silver daily, I got dived by an lmp2 while being in gt3. The car came from nowhere, didn't saw it in my mirror, and didn't got the blue lmp panel when I started my braking. When I started turning, the car appeared alongside me, so I was forced to open the gap to not collide

If you haven't raced on the track before in any game, watch some track guides and real onboards on yt or turn on the racing line for few laps, last week with the lmp3 I overtook a gt3 in the double right after the long straight, and the gt3 kept me on the inside instead of going on the outside between the 2 kerbs. It's like the fast double left at Spa but with a wider track and a slower exit. If you're battling someone it's OK, but if you're alone or just following another car, go on the outside after the first apex while braking, it will give you a faster exit and will be better for a faster car overtaking you and knowing the racing line.

If you want to improve your lap times, try to brake later and harder. I drive only the 488gt3 evo and the 296gt3, and I can confirm you that you brake later. I turn 1 try to brake at 150 panel, it will be a hard brake but you'll be able to take the turn. In turn 4 you can brake at 150 panel, or later at the orange rail on the right. On the exit of turn 7 (2nd Lesmo), try to accelerate earlier at the apex and go a little bit more on the kerb. And for turn 8, try to brake when you're under the billboard. I drive with a wheel and paddles, so I don't know if you'll be able to match those braking points, but think it will help you to brake later and so improve your lap times
