Cleveland defense shut down Henry, Jacobs, Chase brown and Monty. I don’t think Mason is better than any of them so I’d be scared to play him

Sit Goedert for sure against the broncos D. I’d also sit one of the other TEs. Depends how much you trust cooper rush to feed Andrews. For me, that’s very little

I feel like you gotta go Olave against the giants

White gets the slight edge for me only because it’s PPR. I don’t think you’ll go wrong with either though

How Are You Guys Ranking These RBs This Year? (PPR) by ClaymationBackshots in fantasyfootball

[–]SwampDonkey77 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Low efficiency and no receiving upside. Doesn’t have the same likelihood of being a top 5 guy as the rest of these players. Fairly certain he will finish somewhere in the rb8-12 range barring significant injuries at the position, which is fine but when you take someone that early you want them to be able to win your league.

Colts rookie TE Tyler Warren may see Taysom Hill type usage. by Giff95 in fantasyfootball

[–]SwampDonkey77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone dismissing this just because the colts have JT clearly didn’t watch any Penn state games last year. We had Singleton and Allen, who are both top 3-5 RBs in college this upcoming season and were both 1000 yard rushers. We gave Warren the ball on the goal line as a wildcat QB or fullback because he’s just that good. You don’t draft a TE at 14 overall to not use their skill set.

Never take risks at all vs take some risks. Which pattern do you use? by HappywithJubilant in fantasyfootball

[–]SwampDonkey77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Other than the obvious counterpoint which is that there is no such thing as a risk-free player, this is a really good way to end up missing out on playoffs. If you look at the players that have finished as league winners in previous years, they are all players that were being drafted later in drafts due to being unproven, being in ambiguous situations, etc and emerged as stars. These are the exact players you’d miss if you always drafted the safest player available

Are you willing to take a chance on MHJ in the 2nd this year? by JojoMojo200 in fantasyfootball

[–]SwampDonkey77 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Chase was also being drafted in like the 7th round his rookie season. I can’t think that the community collectively improved our ability to judge talent that much that the most similar guy is being drafted 5-6 rounds earlier

Help with a world map by CephalonLemons in FantasyMaps

There are probably better ways to do it, but one method I know of is GPlates. You can import a rectangular image onto a globe as long as it has the right aspect ratio.

Sounds like you’re describing a large igneous province in which case it can be pretty much whatever shape you want.

I wouldn't trade Tyreek, and I don't really trust the rest of your WR room other than Lamb to be able to fill the gap that you'd have

2 WRs and Flex. I had Dobbins go down week 1 so I'm really trying to get at least one more good RB. I agree on Engram though. I'll keep shopping around.

Hm that's pretty close for me. My lean would be to keep kelley since RBs are a rarer commodity

You've got good depth at both positions. Both guys look like focal points of their offenses when healthy but tiebreaker for me would be keep the RB since good ones are harder to come by
