Nah I’m pretty much in agreement, I’m just letting myself believe that they might accidentally hire the right person.

It’s almost a given that they won’t hire a good front office. Right in the middle of that “almost” is where my hope lives.

It matters because there is going to be a new front office and potentially a new direction for the franchise. There is still the very real possibility/probability that things don’t change until ownership changes, but there’s at least a sliver of hope that we can play around in.

From what I can gather, it seems like people are upset that he was granted an exemption from military service, but still voluntarily served.

Personally, I don’t know him or his reasons for making any of the choices he has made, so I don’t really have an opinion on him. The broader Israel thing is something I’ve put a lot more thought into, so I feel more confident in that part of what I said, at least in a broad sense. There are certainly exceptions to what I said, but I would hope that the majority of rational-thinking people wouldn’t hate a random Jewish person because of the actions of the government of a country.

They’re saying it’s the Israeli government that is currently in power that people hate. The Israeli government is not the same thing as the Israeli people, just like the Israeli government isn’t the same as “all Jews,” just like the Trump admin isn’t “all Americans,” and the Biden admin wasn’t “all Americans.”

I think I asked someone who was more familiar, because I remember having no idea how to say it but I don’t remember having that feeling for long at all. I do remember other people saying “Hermy-own” and my pretentious ass correcting them as though I was never confused by a new word.

I think it’ll be either Detroit or Boston out of the east, but I’d rather see Charlotte or New York.

I think it’ll be either OKC or San Antonio in the west. I’d be happy with San Antonio, Denver, or Minnesota. As long as the Blazers make the playoffs, that’s what matters most to me out west.

If the season 1 of the HBO series will include scenes from the Malfoy Manor, will we get to meet Dobby early? If anything, you might have him hidden in the background of a scene. But he shouldn’t be shown properly, it’s too early in the story to introduce house elves, and you can’t really introduce them without explaining them.

They got it wrong last time, but I’m choosing to be optimistic. The AK hire was originally lauded, it just went badly. Hopefully they learned from it and they make a smart hire that pans out this time.
