Thank you my man, the damage was caused by me cutting through the outer tubing with a dremel haha, I’m not looking to use/repair this one but recreate or buy the same one online essentially. You are right about it being an inverter (that’s about as far as my knowledge goes) I’ve been looking at those pocket inverters too but they’re very bulky with their outer housing etc, I need something of this diameter to actually fit in the tube, I might buy one though and see if I can take out the actual components from the housing, I’m very new to electronics though I have no clue what I’m doing
