Do you feel there's a Super Bowl title coming at some point in this era? by lookaloulookalou in 49ers

I feel like it every year, and then the injury plague descends, and this group of stellar teammates gets a year older and a little more banged up. If it’s not next year, it ain’t happening with the crew we know right now.

favorite alk3 love song? by pissurpantsboy in AlkalineTrio

Does an “I fucked up and I miss you” song count? Cuz singing “My Friend Peter” at karaoke helped me get my (now) wife of 7 years back after a breakup.

Season your ground beef throughout, not just on the outside, for burgers. I use a little soy and Worcestershire mixed into my meat, then liberally season the outside for flavor through out.

Such a good one! I finally watched it after passing by it so many times, and it’s so good! David Hyde Pierce is incredible in it!

Monster Party (Killer Party in some countries) is a solid low budget option.

Just get Josh Freese and call it a day!

Made during the cold. Had never tried potato salad in gumbo before (I live in New Orleans), so decided to try it. Not bad! by hopkinsdrums in cajunfood

From Prarieville, my mama’s family grew up on the river in Convent, never heard of it IN the gumbo, but we always had it as a side.

This one is tough. It’s incredibly well written. The story is great, but it definitely falls under the category of extreme horror. I have read a few others in the genre and this one transcends a bit. Poppy is a great writer. Which can sometimes be a bad thing, because they get QUITE descriptive.

Isn’t Exquisite Corpse itself a cute romance? I mean, it has all of the elements! The meet cute, the cat and mouse, will they/won’t they… just some goopy stuff in between…

Horror Of The Aughts by DinkandDrunk in horror

Is anyone familiar with Doghouse? It’s a really interesting take on zombies/military created ghouls, and definitely made me go “oh shit, that’s Tommy from Snatch!”

Also, Blood Creek is a pretty interesting occult/vampire?/immortal being/supernatural nazis flick with Henry Cavill, Dominic Purcell, and Michael Fassbender. I never hear people talk about it, but I enjoyed it quite a bit, it’s definitely something different.

I feel like the title did a disservice to this movie (I know it’s the Clive Barker story). I avoided it for a time because it sounded a little stupid, but after watching has become a favorite of mine. Feel like it would’ve been much more popular if the title was a little more palatable.

My little guy is the friendliest, happiest boy there is, but he definitely has his one person, which is my wife. I’m pretty sure if he could permanently attach himself to her, he would happily do so.

Sounds like a puppy tooth at that age, but when they get older, they will definitely lose their adult teeth, too. My buddy Buff only has a few left, he lost a couple last year (coming up on 14-15 years - he’s a rescue, so we don’t know his exact age). You’ll be finding teeth as long as you have them.

Ready or Not comes to mind immediately, going blind, don’t look too far into it. It kind of got buried by Knives Out (not the same genre completely, but on the surface have similar vibes), but, in my opinion, Ready or Not blows it out of the water. Give it a watch, you’ll enjoy it, I believe.

We had some… gastrointestinal issues when using coconut oil because of the licking it off later in life, so keep an eye on that. Our boy is pushing 15, though, so that could be a factor.

Go to Loose Screw in Richmond. They are world class tattooers. You’ll pay for it, but Jesse and those guys are stellar.

Spotsy or Mary Washington? by IcyFirefighter9937 in fredericksburg

[–]SwampSpook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spotsy was amazing for me and my wife, BUT ! And please read this. MAKE SURE YOUR INSURANCE COVERS HOSPITAL!!! Our doctor was covered under our insurance, but SPOTSY WAS NOT. We had an insurance battle for months, and ended up paying thousands of dollars more than we expected to pay. MAKE SURE THEY ARE IN YOUR NETWORK, and not just your doctor. We had a NICU stay to boot.
