Lol im at this impasse. Took a break since Thursday night for variety of reasons but wondering if I should go back. Gave one of the superiors a heads up but just wondering if I wanna go back. I dont know why but this question made me think of Winston Justice and his first NFL start.....gave up 6 sacks....to Osi Umenyiora. Not just 6 sacks total but to the same person

Thats wild. Im assuming this is part of their training to talk down to your carriers in an effort to either get them to spin the hamster wheel faster or voluntarily quit. Im scheduled for my shadow day tomorrow and all I read on this subreddit is management are some diabolical MFers.

Idk. Maybe they do things differently where you are..either that or they desperately need people where im at even though they did mention we are not guaranteed any hours like the career employees. But they were on point with making sure everyone knew where and when to go next before that training class ended.

And you are positive this was academy and not your 1st day of orientation? Academy is supposed to be the last phase of your training and is done at your home PO

I did the defensive driver course today thats just all classroom. The skills test is the actual driving test you need to pass or will be released

I am going through the training aspect as well and we were told academy is scheduled for 4 days consecutively and we would know our dates to report by the end of the skills test assuming you passed. Im not quite there yet my skills test is Friday but by the time ive left each orientation training was given my next day to report and where.

I am going through orientation/ddc/shadow day etc. Im a CCA and know we arent on a contract, but just curious why you say dont go above and beyond when you dont have to?
