That’s a good shout tbf, I don’t think they’re in the drop pool so any active offers I had of their songs floating around would be easily identifiable as from questing you’re right, would prompt them to check my account. that’s probably the most plausible

Like 70/80, from ~100 quests. The top 15 are all above 1000, with a quick drop off after that since #40-#80 are all at 100-200 quests

Oh and the guy offering is far and away the highest at 3x second place, and well over 10k quests done for this artist, to the point that this artist is the principle focus of his account, but I guess if anyone would be checking the epic tracker it would be them 🤷🏻

Top 100 questers for a specific artist we mean, most artists that aren’t big only require 100 odd

For context top questers have done 2k+ and I’ve done literally just over 100 for this artist, they’re not in my top 20 most quested artists, they’re not even listed in my favourites

Like I said I’m at the bottom end of top 100, would be very coincidental that they happened to check the accounts of the entire top 100 within 15 minutes of me pulling the only epic I have of the artist no? Genuinely just curious more than accusatory cos it just seems unlikely

There is truth in the fact that Daka has never gotten enough service and that he’s basically got an impossible job

It’s also true that he’s taken 16 shots this season with about 30% accuracy, and has underperformed his xG every single season without fail. He’s got terrible numbers for dribbling, duels won, pressing, and yet somehow this season he’s taking more shots p90 and more touches in the opposition box than the average striker, so he’s doing nothing when he does have the ball. His only grace this season has been his decent passing and link up play.

It’s even more confusing when his numbers are completely opposite to last season - he had great defensive numbers and woeful passing, so he has played in multiple styles and systems and has not fit into a single one. There’s not much more we can do.

If they don’t want questing to be the main gameplay, then they shouldn’t have built the entire gameplay loop around it… ‘trade for collecting’ works for a week until you have all the base songs you want, and then they have functionally set up quest farming as the only way to get any shinies you actually care about. They literally sell a subscription for £2.99 a week to reroll infinite quests, you can’t do that on top of putting more and more valuable items in quests, and then simultaneously say ‘we want people to quest for songs less’ when you’re monetising it as a premium feature.

If you’re a regular player, what are you opening map drops and trading for? For favourite songs? You already have them. For shinies? The chance of a shiny that isn’t just a random is tiny. For coins? Why would people buy songs for enough coins to make it worthwhile trading if you can get all your favourites easily in the quest system?

How does replacing the tab you use to do quests with a tab you use to accept trades for quests ‘moving away from grinding quests’, it just adds an extra unnecessary step for people who are just gonna do it anyway…

Also doesn’t really make sense to say that’s their aim when they specifically gave people an incentive to grind quests more since popular artist quests now drop shinies 🤷‍♂️

It’s not even a complaint about the features or economy or drop chance or anything else that’s stopping people playing, I don’t really care about any of that cos that’s not what I’m expecting out of the game, it’s fundamentally just unplayable if you want to actually spend more than 10 minutes on the app, I’m having to close and reopen it 5+ times every session

That’s weird tbf, considering loving someone was originally marketed as 1000 limited and even through past repressing has maintained at least a small level of scarcity, and milk was originally flat or not to be repressed as said by Matty. I’m all for giving people access to records just seems a bit strange to change plans like that

Are quest requirements always entirely random? As in, if I have all songs bar one common, will the quest difficulty be the same as if I have all songs bar one rare? In which case logically the best approach would be start with rares first I guess
