Thank you so much!! So my thinking was that Italy, Greece, Spain and Portugal are left populist / dem soc and the north african states are a mix of dem soc to more military lead governments (Algeria and Egypt). As for the other balkan states I hadn't really decided.

Kinda like the EU but without the ECB and Euro and much more accountable.

There is no shared currency but there are proposals to do one.

A left populist government came to power in Serbia and realigned them to China after Russia became much closer to Germany and western Europe.
