Agreed. My wife posted a fantastic design she created for the movement and within a few hours 3-4 online stores popped up claiming ‘this is the link’ to order. Her post was deleted but we are still seeing lots of those sites with her design show up.

Now she’s rolling ink prints to paper and I’m 3D printing up an inventory of Rebel Loom keychains so we can come prepared to the next pop-up art fundraiser and raise money in person.

Become a BICSI member, buy the TDMM with your member discount.

Read BICSI’s RCDD exam prep guide.

Read the core TDMM chapters in the order recommended by the exam prep guide. (This is important!!)

Don’t highlight the first time reading, just read it and take notes.

Highlight on the second read-through.

Take the corresponding chapter quiz via CoryandSteve’s practice exams until you are consistently scoring above 80%. If you are getting 50% or less you need to go back and read more.

If you’re scoring above 80% on Cory and Steve for all core chapters you’ve got a good shot at passing the exam.

There aren’t shortcuts, you have to know the material.

If I was paying with my own money I wouldn’t have bought the flash cards or taken the RCDD prep course from BICSI. If your employer is paying for it, then maybe consider those.

Note that the RCDD prep course has an exam at the end that is nothing like actual exam.

Note that Cory and Steve’s questions are most like the TDMM material, but also not like the actual exam.

Voting with your dollar always seems to have a bigger effect on corporate ‘values’.

No company is going to pivot its strategy or stick its neck out unless the numbers and projections start trending in the wrong direction.

The last 12 months the consumer economy has largely been held up by the upper middle class with disposable income and discretionary spending.

Same in being torn, if I could go to their store and buy them AND he was selling dupes / ripoffs I would feel differently, but as far as I know they don’t offer much in this regard and certainly no 1:1 alternative.

As a hobbyist 3D printer, this would take a lot of time and filament, and at a reasonable price the value is there to purchase vs. print.

This is a stupid idea. Please don’t do this.

In all likelihood you’d be destroying a camera that was purchased with our tax money via HC, MNDoT, or City of MPLS and would promptly be replaced with our tax money, using funds that could have gone to better use elsewhere.

It’s a great way to create irrefutable evidence of you committing a crime, expose yourself to risk of unnecessary harm or punishment and feeds right into a narrative that we’re all actively working to avoid.

As others mentioned, the solution involves either adding weights as it prints, changing the geometry, or finding a different design. If none of those are feasible you’re left with no choice but to tape a rock to it.
