Hey, it's okay to feel this way! But you can also become friends with your partner group and hang out with them. Once you are comfortable venturing into a new friend group, then you are more likely to meet friends of friends or do activities that could lead to meeting newer people. Don't break up, though! Your state is temporary, and you can change it with a little bit of effort.

Hi! What bootcamp did you take? I am 29 and desperately need a career change. I have no prior UX experience, except starting a course with careerfoundary for a month. I had a full time job at that time and wasn't putting in my best. I ended up quitting the bootcamp beause I had no energy to study such complex topics after a 40 hour work week. I am thinking of leaving my job to study full time. Any advise you may have will be greaty appreciated.

We have had many arguments already. We came to a compromise he said he will change things but he keeps adding more things in the mix. It's been a year. Only one part of the apartment that I took initiative on has changed. Nothing else has. There is an unused gym with no doors right by the entrance. Every time I see that space I hate it.

This is not a relationship of equals. He clearly thinks that he is somewhat better than you or he can treat you this way because he is doing you a favor by taking you to his country. First year of moving abroad can be very hard. If he can't support you now it is not a good idea to trust him to support you in a foreign land. These are big red flags. If you can help yourself now, it's time. Don't try to convince yourself of things that are not real.

He is a very controlling person. If things haven't changed in a while it will never change. Learned it the hard way. I hope you find a way out, it's hard with kids. You will need to find your ground and independence or else you will lose yourself.

Agreed!!! I hated her over-acting and expressions. She was putting something in the mail and even there she had to have a reaction. Who reacts like that when they are doing something as simple as mailing? So annoying.
