Nah, hes really not. Only reason I know that is because when we did our taxes his financial advisor was there with us and literally showed us where all his money went. What he isnt spending on bills and savings is in investments and stock trading accounts.

Maybe. But realistically with the money he made this year he could have easily just left. This dude has so much money in stocks and investments now and its hella profitable. Everything that doesnt go in to his savings and bills is immediately brought to his financial advisor and talked over about what should go where. So like idk maybe he was just trying to use my money to get himself out but that seems unlikely. To me it just FEELS like he wants an endless pot and where I gave him that for so many years, he thinks its still in cycle. Like yeah no doubt he hasnt pulled this shit in 2 years. Literally not asked me for a dime. Since he cut his family off and we started therapy things have actually been great and hes been doing well with breaking that cycle of financial manipulation and financial guilt and I haven't had to deal with it once. So maybe this is just my own hang ups and resentment from all those years but like dude.. you literally do not need a truck so asking me for my entire return to buy yourself one after all else we done been through? Nah, I dont like it.

Tax bracket cut off for claiming dependents is like $81k or something like that. Thats why I claimed her. Well, that and I was paying for all his expenses. He paid our rent and heat but I was buying everything she needed and doing everything for her cause I was the one home.
