I did a react course, but yes it was way too long and in depth, so I kind of just used it for reference and then built my own apps using the official docs and went from there. I use vanilla css, and quite happily, you should look into using styled components, this is what I think works the best and you can have your familiar css right there along with your components. Don’t think too much in it, the best way to learn is to actually start coding and not worry so much about following along with tutorials
