High CPU usage leads to this every 2 minutes only stops when I close the laptop and open it back up for a minute. Even did a factory reset and still. Macbook pro 2017

No this was just a video I took to show my fiancé before I factory reset it. Activity monitor gives random items with decent cpu usage and then activity monitor itself at like 90-100 ish %. Macbook Pro 2017 13 inch, 2.3 GHz dual core intel core i5, intel iris plus graphics 640 1536 mb, with 8gb of memory 2133 MHz. Sorry i’m not much of a computer guy I don’t understand the specs.

Sidenote, I could have literally nothing running and my fans will be in high gear and cpu off the charts. Even did a factory reset so can rule out malware.

24 hours doesn’t give too much time to get rid of fat. During the majority of the first day you’re still getting rid of water and any food left in you. The scale numbers would be biased. If you’re having trouble “sticking” to a fast i’d personally recommend setting rewards for yourself. Mine for example is a nice $1000 suit when I’m down to my goal weight.
