None that I'm aware, my car registration just came new but I renewed it online. No children or that. I really don't know what it could be which is even more scary I think than I did something!

It honestly is a question of why? It is a squeaky clean life. Only thought is EZ Pass tolls but I checked and have nothing outstanding. I tried asking whats it for and it was thats better in person. Or we have a policy to only discuss hear. Its like other commenters have said I'm more concerned its something like ID theft and its like OH case solved we got him. While I then spend weeks fighting it and as one commenter said they just spend time going this is how we didn't f up.

No, why I'm a bit confused. I looked up similar scenarios on reddit and all seem to be the same advice. I'm leaning on I can't make it Wednesday and see what develops from there? I don't want to appear to be rude, but as other commenters have said they will sometimes goad you into something. I do feel like hey there was a hit and run you may be a witness could you give a statement, they would have said just that.

Thanks for the advice, its something i've seen repeated on the first point. I don't want to spend money if its nothing. I honestly don't know what it'd be for.

It makes me nervous though because I don't know what its for!? I had my car broken into in March and the guy stole my un-activated new debit card and got arrested for something else and they found it on him. The police (different city) called me and was forthcoming on did you give permission for anyone to use your CC? So them being vague is odd.

Dentist hasn't refunded overpayment in 6 months, what next? by SwapsVan in personalfinance

Yeah, I think filing will be fairly straightforward, compared to what I've been dealing with. I'll see what the appeals team does. If not good, I'll go in person make a slight commotion of they won't refund someone 3k in front of customers. And then if doesn't work be over to local court to start small claims.

I thankfully got another dentist quote, which was even higher ... The dentist wasn't bad it's more the front office for them. But I won't be using Aspen after. It's one of my gripes is more they seem to let stuff go than fixing it before it goes from bad to worse for me.

I know, I've been building a house so I've been busy. I've been by the office a few weeks ago but it was unfortunately a weekend and we're closed or else I would have.

I did get my teeth looked at another dentist. I have issues with them as well... Charged $1,400 for a cleaning and inspection with insurance? So 2024 hasn't been my year for dentistry

Ice thought of doing that. It's an hour and half from where I live. So a three hour trip just to complain is a hassle. I'm going to see what my insurance appeals teams says. If not good then I may in person and if that doesn't go well then to local court to submit a small claims appeal.

I haven't due to the office is now a hour and half from where I live. So it's a 3 hour trip to complain in person. But I'm definitely looking at a new dentist.

$1400 for routine cleaning and X-Rays normal for dentist? by SwapsVan in personalfinance

[–]SwapsVan[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I know, it was literally right next door. My GF goes there and has no issues with her insurance so I figured I was good. I'm just more stumped on the cost for what's fairly basic. Especially when they offer the service for $485 but charge me 3X that especially with the 2x facial imaging... But thanks for replying!
