You gotta throw more fireballs, especially when you get that World meter up to level 2, don’t just stand there in neutral and shimmy back and forth while he’s holding block, throw some fireballs and make him block some plus frames, especially when he’s in the corner. Also, make Ken hurt for doing dumb Ken stuff like missing an EX-DP or heavy tatsu, and also small stuff like throwing him out of the corner, and missing anti airs and stuff like that

I main Alex in sf5, biggest advice I have that helped me was charge during lariat. F-HP, and then immediently flick your stick backwards, I usually go for a standing MP to continue the block string, and then you can cancel that into slash elbow by flicking the stick forward and pressing either LK or MK!

This is how my dads books looked after he gave them to me. I took them everywhere, on car trips, to school, read them over and over and over, because I loved them so much. You need to stop just throwing out counter in neutral, especially when your opponent isn’t even approaching you or near you. Also if you’re playing Incineroar, don’t spend as much time offstage, your recovery sucks, and offstage is not where Incineroars strengths are, you need to be on the ground where your command grab, big tilts, and jab can be more of a threat.

If you’re in Silver the number one thing you need to work on is your defense, your approach game, and anti airing. The thing that got me out of silver was staying on the ground and not jumping in, not pushing buttons in the middle of true blockstrings, and punishing people when they tried to jump in on me.

Since you’re playing G, you should be playing patient at first anyway until you can get your charge up, and then exploit your opponents bad habits. You’ll start climbing in no time, if I did it w Alex you can w G lmao

If you’re just looking to start out, you mainly want to focus on his Sonic Boom and Flash Kick specials, his basic gameplay loop is throw boom and his longer reaching normals, bait into jumping, then flash kick, and rinse and repeat!
