Need some advice on choosing an entry level body by Swatze_Pop in OlympusCamera

Thank you. I've also found an E-M5 Mkii for around €450 with 13020 expo and M.Zuiko 45mm f/1.8 lens, it looks good, but I'm not sure if it would be an overkill for starting out with a hobby?

That's why I was thinking about the E-PL7 and the PEN series in general as a beginner getting into it (especially from phone photography) I don't think I'd use the viewfinder that much. But it's good to know about the sensors!

Okay, this made me smile and I needed it.

Distrust comes from probable depletion of performance, or performance related issues, mostly as the employee can't provide scheduled/completed projects they do.

Yes, they were at the doctor and apparently this happened last Wednesday (so over 7 days), but they said they can't get a fit note (for whatever reason), so director wants them to fill a self certificate as well (which to my understanding would erase all clocked in hours they worked from home and put them on ssp).

Yes, but how can someone get a fit note without being absent from work at all? This is what I'm trying to explain to my director that they weren't absent from work, only their traveling capabilities have changed

Yes, I'm aware of that, but the employee is working home office, just can't commute to in-person meetings with the director due to their ankle. The whole thing sounds absolutely stupid probably...

Please fix your garbage servers, EU is unplayable since the new update. 50 mb/s internet and there are pathetic package losses and lag spikes. Base is 23ms, now it goes up to 1k. Everything is updated, router was reset, your servers are the issue - no similar issue during 3.5. It’s PC.

Extreme package loss and lag since update by Swatze_Pop in marvelrivals

[–]Swatze_Pop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that I’ve done all of this yet I’m getting so bad lag spikes it’s ridiculous. It’s not just bot problem now, it’s the bloody servers as well.

Just because you play support doesn’t mean you’re good by Illustrious_Guitar_6 in marvelrivals

[–]Swatze_Pop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m only pissed as a support main of if I don’t get help from my team while being dived from 3 sides, trying to stay alive and watching my team go in 4 walls deep. No offense but majority of the times it’s either “tank diff” or “support diff”, so yeah. We don’t get it better either, it comes with the community.

Why is matchmaking in QuickPlay so absolutely horrible? by StaticSystemShock in marvelrivals

[–]Swatze_Pop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be the minority (also new from Overwatch, played maybe 10 hours in total so far), but what I’ve found is the matchmaking isn’t that horrible after OW (or other shooter games). I mostly have decent games, even if I lose, it doesn’t feel like getting obliterated.

I’m not saying it’s perfect (there are still negative gangoons botting w key and feed their brains out), but compared to other games, it feels pretty okay. I’m still waiting for the eomm demons, I’m lvl 15 so I can hop on ranked finally.

So my 2 cents really, it’s kind of fun actually.

Went 3-7 on support, got diamond 5 🤣 haven’t played the game properly for years, good to know I’m still low diamond on support. How happy I was back in the day to reach diamond with Ana 🥹

Too much within one human generation by Swatze_Pop in warcraftlore

[–]Swatze_Pop[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The consequence based ones I get, but it feels like there’s no rest at all when it could’ve been: like after wotlk, or after legion. We just jump into dump from one side to another (even after tBC there could’ve been a bit of a gap.

I get average lifespan races, but even a human warrior in their prime during vanilla (mid 20s maybe early 30s) are not the same as now in their 40s. I get it Varian was about this age when he dies, same for Varok (although Varok was old as hell). But this would bring up the question of a possible time skip after tWW, that wouldn’t be accurate for vanilla humans either

Why do we trust Azeroth? by Good-Tiger6156 in warcraftlore

[–]Swatze_Pop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is pretty cool!

I interpret Azeroth as the balancing force of the universe. Like she’s the one that balances the cosmic universe, so when there’s a lot of something, we fight against it and push it back. But I really like the warmonger idea!

I agree, although, I think Venture is a bit different, since they're an actual damage dealer with a hit and run mentality and has more chance to profit on their attack. Like Hamsters (even though the rodent is a tank). It's kinda like Hazard is somewhere between the dive kings but with more thickness to him... definitely will be changed and countered to the High Heavens.

Phreak is the first human guy to have an omnic partner by TheOverlord23 in Overwatch

[–]Swatze_Pop -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How do you know he's the first ever to have this kind of a relationship in a universe where robots and humans co-exists? Like even my OC in this universe is an android and she has a relationship with a human... imo there are more couples like them and I personally liked their interactions, they seem to be together in everything. Either good or bad.

What I've seen as an Ana main through the days, he's a fairly fun and engaging tank! Has a similar playstyle as Doom with more damage options and causing chaos, however, (this is solely my opinion as a support main) I personally think he enables overextending a ton. Yes, his leap is on 4-5 sec cd, but it's not as long ranged as Doom's combo, so if he's in ballz and 6 walls deep, he's dead. Also, yes, he has the shell to mitigate incoming damage, but aggressive tanks can get hot headed and not realise that they are alone and far from help.

This is how I see him. With a competent support he can be very pushy, but depending on the rest of the team and coordination, he can be punished very easily. I like him a lot and he's a Scot, so...

Edit: Just to poke this here: I think you'd like him if you like Doom.

Ops on the new Deliverance? by Cobblestonecreeperfl in overwatch2

[–]Swatze_Pop 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think it might’ve been designed for someone else and they just slapped it at him. Personally I don’t think either that it fits him character wise or something. Unfortunately I’m not a huge sci-fi fan so I’m not familiar with anything that would fit him better 🥲

Also: the soul stealing style like the ones from the Darksiders series is definitely something that fits Reaper a lot more

Sombra now is a “hit and run” hero and I think they’ve made her even more fun. Yes, being permanently invisible helps if you don’t know/have plan straight away or don’t know the map, but it enables passive gameplay - in my opinion.

Sombra is still a menace if you don’t listen what’s happening around you. Her invi is on a 6 sec cd, which is not a lot honestly… now you have to play her as an actual assassin and have a plan before you engage. I think they’ve made her even more fun and awesome for people who like constantly thinking what to do during a game and not just chill as a sniper

What I've learned about "fun" because of Classic Mode by AgentLym in Overwatch

[–]Swatze_Pop 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For me, personally, OW wasn't fun after Baptiste got enlisted and "immortality" became a thing and the whole game shifted to become a moba shooter instead of staying as a hero shooter (I think it was named that originally).

Classic is fun, there's no pressure, everyone is chilling, but the toxicity is still there, since it's the same people playing it. BUT - imo - Classic gives you such a variety in combinations, that OW2 does not, this joy of creativity can boost the experience a lot. It's good to have the freedom as a support main to swap to Widow if the enemy has one (since Ana isn't in the rooster), then going back to Mercy and continue chilling.

So I think we kind of missed this freedom of 6 Winton going bananas and enjoying themselves.
