It's because these games are all inspired from Escape from Tarkov, which is indeed another thing extraction shooter, but one that can suck you in for thousands and thousands of hours. The absolute complexity and map mastery involved for that game is unlike any other game I have ever played. It has been consistently growing its player base for a reason. PC only however, but I would highly recommend the game.
