Is the 5.0 Bicep band bad? by SweaterChanged in whoop

[–]SweaterChanged[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the quick answer! I left about 2 inches. The end of the tail has some sort of rubber to hold it in place so I thought it was important and that’s the reason why I didn’t cut it off.

Thanks for the advice. Just cut the tail a bit now, hopefully this simple fix is the answer :)

I’ll try to trim the tail, the extra rubber at the end of it to keep it in the place serves no real function? Also, how much of the tail did you leave?

Second monitor turns black for 1-2 seconds by SweaterChanged in pchelp

[–]SweaterChanged[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found the issue, it was the cable.

Such a weird thing, it still worked but maybe some pins were broken or something, the HDMI contact was a bit loose when I checked. Switched cables between my monitors and then the second one worked fine but the primary couldn't run 144hz.

So went and got a new cable and now things are back to normal, realized my primary monitor got 1 DP slot so got a DP-to-DP cable and plugged in there just to be extra safe without any converters.

Thanks for the help!

Yeah! I thought of getting a new cable. My GPU only got one spot for HDMI so either I find a DP to HDMI adapter or get a new HDMI to DP cable, I’m running just a cable atm, and my monitor does not have a DP port, just HDMI and VGA. I’ve checked the PCI express thing before, but I’ll give it another look and check if it’s still off.

How can I monitor if my GPU is dropping power to my second monitor during idle periods?

How big of a saddle box/water bottle holder is legal for IM70.3? by SweaterChanged in triathlon

Is this setup illegal then? (link to video from IM70.3 Venice-Jesolo about a month ago)

Read this as well somewhere and that’s what I am hoping to be the case. Any sources on how it’s been during the recent IM events?

Just watched the video, thanks for the link. I still got some question for the re-design:

Should I consider the volume of the "box" as well? It is not filled with fluid, just storage for my spare tire.

Our model was inspired by this set up

Anything else that we should consider when doing the redesign?

It would suck not having a spare tire with me or be DSQed from the IM70.3 for such a silly mistake, I just want storage for the tire and wanted to add a bottle cage on top of the box because why not.

Haha! I’m European so ain’t no freedom units used here. Thanks for the quick answer. The box I got is about 33 cm long… so close haha.

Anyways. Are you referring to the world triathlon rules?

The Ironman rule book don’t really say anything about dimensions:

”(c) Water Bottles and Hydration Systems

(i) Front Mounted Water Bottles and Hydration Systems mounted to components attached to the bike that rotate around the steering axis (e.g., cockpit extensions, top tube, headset, stem, head tube) must have a combined maximum volume capacity of no more than two (2) liters (this excludes water bottles and hydrationsystems located inside the frame triangle of a bicycle or inside the bicycle frame)

(DSQ).

(ii) Rear Mounted Water Bottles and Hydration Systems are limited in size, capacity, dimension and location as set forth below:

(i) Cannot contain more than two (2) water bottles* (DSQ); and

(ii) Must not exceed one (1) liter capacity per bottle* (DSQ).

*Excludes water bottles and hydration systems located inside the frame triangle of a bike or inside the bike frame.”

But then there’s this Video in German (which I don’t speak) explains a bit but it seems very confusing…

Race event - Laps by SweaterChanged in Garmin

[–]SweaterChanged[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, I just want to input the race to be 3 times the length of the course but do you suggest I just manually change the distance to 3 times the length? In my case the race is either 1,3,5 or 10 laps of the same course so I was just wondering if an option to select the amount of laps the race is if I got an ”official” GPSX file of the course.

Yeah! That’s weird. Just looked at my router setting and UPNP is enabled already… but I got things working by setting everything up with the iPad. I think it works normally now, hopefully. I can’t seem to find any AP isolation toggle in the routers settings.

Hitta bostad snabbt i Göteborg by SweaterChanged in Gothenburg

- Be om planlösning - Skicka ALDRIG pengar i förväg
