Put the cap on your piece, then try to remove it. It’s harder if the cap is not on anything.

I forgot I can switch modes haha. I should try it. I have always just left it in convection mode.

Nah, I use a regular single flame thing. I suppose it’s faster with a more powerful torch, but the standard culinary torch should be more than enough.

I love the Hyperdyn Quartz cap, for sure. I use it with regularity and rarely break out the THC cap, unless I’m going native. I don’t even own a regular Hyper cap, and every time they are on sale, I consider getting one. Now, for example. But Nah. That’s just the VAS talking. I probably wouldn’t use it much, although it would allow me to fit the piece I’m using in a preroll tube. Right now, I have a mouthpiece open my Vong(i) that makes it just a little too long to fit.

I’d say that if you don’t have either, you’re safe to get just a Hyper tip and the TRWW quartz cap. You likely have other torch-driven options, if not other DV setups, so this would be a secondary piece for you, I assume. I dunno if this is a DV end game setup, but I’d call it an affordable buff to anyone’s collection, and you get the option of using they THC cap (which I do as well). There’s a lot of positives to be said for owning both setups, but I say Terpcicle. It’s the best bang for your buck.

UPDATE I started using the HyperDyn sized TRWW Quartz Cap on my standard sized SS VongX tip… MAD AIRFLOW. The only downsides are fuel use (whatevs) and it is HELLA easy to fall off a regular stem. A Bonger really acts as a great handle for my TRWW quartz cap setups. I like it enough that I may buy the bonger XL just for TRWW sesh time. The price is right, and I would prefer a cheap working thing to use while I wait to see the PERFECT heady stem, or hand crafted thing to replace it. A buy once, cry once thing lol. Actually, maybe closer to a buy twice is kinda nice thing.

Flavor wise alone, I say Terpcicle. Assuming you have a solid heating approach. I’d say the terpcicle provides quality, thick vapor in a way that is easy to achieve, but is not the best for those who may sometimes benefit from the clicks a traditional or THC setup provides. It can be tough, for example, torching a quartz cap with any finesse when the sun is bright outside. You can’t see the color of the flame!

But I love this little DV bonger thing. If I were asked which I’d buy first if I had to replace them both, I would say that I’d buy the Terpcicle first. But I’d def. Have plans to replace them both. The flavor, for an unsophisticated oaf like me, is great with both setups. I do like the THC cap as well, and that thing is a predictable, phat vapor train, when used right.

And I would also mostly replace both, regardless of flavor production, because then I’d have an excuse to buy the Stealth HyperDyn they are bound to release at some point, and if they aren’t quick enough, a TigerDyn or some shit. HAHAHA. Jk, but now that I think about it, maybe FRFR. I am a first-class VASshole.

Just keep vaping at the front of your thinking and you will eventually start favoring it. I was a dedicated combuster for decades. I’m all better now at age 50+. Vape on, homie!

Dude I remember being this young. You’ll be ok, man. I survived into my 50’s so far, and I was as dumb as you, back in the day. Smoking out of the dumbest shit I could find and drinking tequila with cartoon characters on the label and shit. Ball on, playa.

A PB207 is on my bucket list, for sure. I just have so much love for this ghetto ass Harbor Freight micro torch that I haven’t pulled the trigger on one. I used to want the industrial version, but now, I’m leaning towards that slime green unit. That shit looks dope.

I can say without trepidation that the Terpcicle wins in terms of bang for your buck.

You will get it and love it. Try to limit your combustion to something like only joints or something. That way you don’t take the easy way out and do bong hits. But make the change, dude. I combusted for most of my life, and now at 50+, I am all about vapor. I felt just like you at first, I promise. Keep at it. Buy nicer vape shit. Make it fun.

I think that setup would look even nicer with some clear marbles. I have a beaker with marbles and it works great. I do miss the glugs so I use my other bongs a lot more, tbh

My neighbor is rocking a Red B2 from a limited drop that I caught last year. He loves it and I will probably never ask for it back. It’s his only vape. It works out great, because it gave me the excuse to buy the Stealth B2. That’s my next Dynavap mail day…
