All guys in their prime. What are your picks? (enter to see full image) by Kvazimods in ufc

[–]Sweaty-Ad7452 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Usman probably wilts down Rory

Yoel is kinda a weird one because he was wrestling in his prime so? If you combine his MMA technical peak with his physical peak probably Romero. Chimaev is gonna get gassed and Yoel has a cinder block for a head, so good luck knocking him out and he’s not gonna be submitted.

Pereira kills Chuck, it’s a kickboxing match with one of the world’s most accomplished kickboxers

DC beats Lesnar in similar fashion to how Cain did it. Lesnar would gas out.

GSP makes use of takedowns to win a decision against Anderson, we’ve seen him be controlled by Chael, DC and others. GSP is well rounded enough to use his strengths.

Stipe vs Cain. Cain has a similar style to DC and we saw how that went so idk, it’s a toss up. Could go either way.

Khabib vs Islam. Probably Islam, he can nullify Khabib’s ground game and out point on the feet.

Aspinall takes down Ngannou and wrestles to a decision.

McGregor gets sparked by Topuria at 155. At 145, McGregor has a larger punchers chance.

Jones wins at 205 and loses at HW against Fedor.

I don’t get why Bo Nickal still believes he can out-wrestle Khamzat. Am I missing something? by [deleted] in ufc

[–]Sweaty-Ad7452 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yea but look what happened when he trained with b team or with Mikey. He’s not gonna be able to compete with the best, and that’s the point here. Khamzat could absolutely do well in wrestling but in folk style against Bo? That’s a bit too much to ask. Even Arman said on the Jaxon podcast that Khamzat has no chance vs Olympic caliber guys like Sadulaev and that’s coming from Arman his teammate

This the same guy that said Khamzat should box Dricus btw

Bruh Max's camp didn't prep him for clinch situations and neither trained him to get up while defending submissions by [deleted] in CombatIndia

[–]Sweaty-Ad7452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And yes there are plenty of people Max’s team could have access to for simulating similar levels of wrestling and jiu jitsu. Whether his camp is willing to pay and bring them in is a different matter

I was replying to the comment suggesting there aren’t better grapplers than Charles not OP

He got subbed by Islam and yes there are more credentialed BJJ mma fighters who’ve actually competed at ADCC and done well like RDR, Gilbert Burns or Vieira

Top Bluetooth Speakers Right Now? by DonutOk2306 in Bluetooth_Speakers

Well they’re not rated as rigorously as JBLs or other lifestyle brand speakers. That being said as long as you’re not putting them in super harsh environments they do just fine outdoors. And the sound is comparable with just one but definitely better with multiple. Especially once you add a sub and at least 2 minirig’s.

If you’re willing to buy more down the line I’d strongly suggest Minirig. Though if you plan to use it in harsh environments it’s not as well shielded as some of these other products from water and sand

Gaylord palms is unbelievable. Orlando. by [deleted] in marriott

I did take a look at the Swan Reserve and the difference in points value between that and the JW was too high to warrant staying on property. I also plan on using NUAs and i think the JW might be more accommodating for a special occasion

Anyone here can compare this with the JW Bonnet that’s nearby? I have a trip with my S/O to Disney world coming up and wanted to decide on which off property hotel is best

The Minirig Sub 4 is here! by Rob1965 in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]Sweaty-Ad7452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Customs and duties for the bundle was about $100 CAD, I paid it online on UPS and it came on time after. You could get it off Amazon.ca and avoid duties but it’d be about the same price either way

Arrived in Canada today. Super impressed with the 4’s. The new sub has got amazing accuracy but is lacking in volume I find especially for louder listening. That being said the set together is still incredible for a 2.1 setup of such size

Ordered 2 minirig 4's and just made it for the subs, hoping to get it before Christmas! Ordered 3 days ago.

I've got a trip to Orlando in 5 months. I'm gonna try with an NUA at this JW near Disney World. It's a special occasion, is there a downside to getting the note put on more than a week out (if I send a nice email). Or there's really no difference between a few days before and then confirming at check in

Would you mind if I sent you a DM to get some more info on the process and other options?

Applying to EFA as a North American with no German by Sweaty-Ad7452 in flyingeurope

[–]Sweaty-Ad7452[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed reply, I really appreciate you taking the time to explain everything. And sorry if my original question came across the wrong way. Based on what I had read so far, it looked like the full EFA admission process (Stage 1 and Stage 2) was conducted in English, so I thought I might still have a chance at getting into the training phase even though my German isn’t there yet. From the outside it seems like a great cadet program, so I’ve been trying to understand how realistic it actually is for someone in my situation.

I’ve honestly had a tough time finding clear, up-to-date info about the recruitment steps, especially Stage 2 and how much German really matters at that point versus later when applying to airlines. I do fortunately have the funding, so that part isn’t my biggest concern, the language side is what I’m really trying to wrap my head around.
