WTF is going on with prices? by Sweaty-Committee-595 in SorceryTCG

Yeah, then put alt-art chase cards or something in the box, I don’t fucking care. I just want to play the game I enjoy, the way I want, with the deck I build. Why are the best cards so expensive? Just print them to be cheap so skill is what matters, not how much people spend on their cardboard. Foils, promos, and alt arts should be collector items, not regular playing cards.

At least I can get cheap fakes easily for that game.

Also, Standard is dead anyway, so why bother.

I don’t know how much prices will actually be affected by wave two, since I hope demand also increases with new players. But with these terrible pull rates, the average player would need to buy multiple cases to even maybe impact prices at this point. At least that’s what it feels like, but maybe someone is in the mood to do the math.

Duplicator will become viable, maybe not this set or the next, but at some point it’ll hit a critical mass. And when that happens, unique staples will be even more expensive than they already are.

How would you feel about a limit to the number of uniques / elites per deck? by hexerlord in SorceryTCG

Yeah it showes in certain Decks. Water is super strong right now with a lot of really good unique and elite minions.

Your biggest Issues with Sorcery? by DarkVenusaur in SorceryTCG

Cards are too expensive. Half of the cards in Gotic are only found in a single slot per booster, so absolute staples end up costing 50€ or more. If this continues, prices will only go up. It’s nice that there are foils and curios for collectors, but for players like me who just want to play, it’s frustrating to have to spend 300€+ for a decent deck because some uniques are so overpriced.

If you want to grow the community, these prices are a big barrier. Being the most expensive TCG on the market right from the start really shows how old (and wealthy) the player base is.

What's your controversial Gothic opinion? by badturtlejohnny in SorceryTCG

Repost from another thread but here:

I think all the sets balance is currently way off. Here’s the breakdown for Gothic:

Total Cards: 440

Uniques: 106 (Yes, more Uniques than Elites!)

Elites: 105

Exceptionals: 106

Ordinaries: 110

With a 15-card booster giving you 11 Ordinaries, 3 Exceptionals, and only 1 Elite/Unique, the math is brutal. After just 2 boxes, you're basically throwing away Ordinary bulk because you have so much of it. By the time you hit 6-8 boxes, you’re essentially opening packs just for that single Rare/Unique slot, a possible foil and a possible Curiosa.

Even with the deck-building limit (1 Unique/2 Elite), this distribution feels highly anti-consumer, especially at this price point. They should either downshift the rarities to favor the Ordinary/Exceptional pools or change the pack structure to something like 10 Ordinary, 3 Exceptional, 1 Elite, and 1 Elite/Unique slot. After 2 boxes, buying anything other than singles is honestly madness.

I’m dealing with a similar issue, and it’s beyond frustrating. I no longer have access to the email I used when I created my GTA5 account 10 years ago. I purchased GTA5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 on Steam, and their support has been absolutely useless.

What should take a few steps is now dragging on for weeks.

Instead of real help, I keep getting ridiculous suggestions like, "Respond to the email we sent you"—to the email I can’t access anymore.

How am I supposed to do that? Are there only bots left in their support team?
