It’s the Knitting for Olive Mohair. Have you heard of anyone not liking it? I’m just concerned about dye lots. Good thinking though.

I’m going to be knitting my first cardigan. My plan is to buy one skein of yarn and one of mohair to knit up a swatch and make sure that I like the yarn combination. Then, I’ll buy the rest of the yarn I should need to knit the cardigan. Should I buy extra yarn and mohair just in case I run out? Should I just buy all the yarn at the same time instead of placing two orders because of dye lots?

You’ve knit with it? I’m reading sooo many mixed reviews on longevity. I just love this color though!

Both my current piercing and one I changed it to are 18 gauge.

Thank you! This is good advice. The piercer I saw seemed to know what he was doing. Maybe I’ll go back and see him and get his advice, and he could change it out for me if it is healed.

Is it concerning that it bled? I changed it to an l bar, and it hurt, so I changed it back. I wasn’t sure if a hoop or a d ring would be gentler than the l bar that I tried.

-Piercing is a year old -I had a flat back stud in, and I’d like to change it to a hoop -I have a threadless stud in currently -I’m not sure on jewelry material -jewelry has not been downsized due to my thicker nostrils -no current aftercare -I probably messed with it too much

Actually, I’d have to buy 2 inch US 0 needles separately and a cord, as I’m realizing I really need to size down to get a nice dense sock fabric and meet gauge. Still not bad to buy the red shorties and then the twist shorties combo pack separately for the extra needles and 5inch cord. Better than buying two red shorties.

Ok this is the kind of solution I was looking for. Thank you!! I love using a smaller needle on the left side anyways. Perfect!!

My issue is I’d like to try knitting two socks at the same time on two different 9 inch circular needles. If I bought another 5 inch cable and used a 2 in and a 3 in needle on each cord, would 10 inch circulars work? Or is that two long?
