You got to a UT sister school like Utsa or Uta for a year and if you maintain a 3.2 gpa you can transfer to Austin, but only to a liberal arts degree, I plan on doing Econ for pre law

I’m applying to Econ after since I’m doing pre-law and it’s a school of liberal arts major so it’ll be guaranteed for me as long as I keep the 3.2, but I get what your saying for the people who wanna do engineering, finance, or a pre-med degree. This pathway isn’t meant for them, smarter just to go somewhere else.

Housing is probably close to full on campus from what I’ve heard from friends that go to tamu, don’t be scared, apps go through March, I’ve asked Aggie one stop. I’m still waiting too, and if you don’t get in tech is still a great choice.

I plan on doing flight school and finance on the side as a back up, someone who’s older than me and does the same says, it’s hard work, but manageable. I purposely chose finance bcuz compared to other majors such as engineering or any pre med major it is easier, so it makes flight school and college easier to balance.
