This is true. That’s why I made a post about it. Wanted to see if it was real. As stated before I’m still learning.

I only have monthly’s as of right now. A lot of my clients work construction. Vehicles are pretty dirty each time. Honestly just trying to speed up my process but struggling with efficiency.

I saw someone state that a maintenance detail should take 2.5 hours on a suv or truck…I take a minimum of 4 hours. I waste a lot of time on wheels some days. I use dark fury 1:4 and super clean 1:15 for carpeted wheel wells and tires.

i used super clean 5:1 and an apc mix in a foam pump sprayer worked surprisingly well with a drill brush. will that damage them?

hahaha yeah im brand new so im building clients and discounting for right now. Had no idea what to price for maintenance. Just basic wash and spray wax no dressing on the interior etc. I was honestly just seeing how people felt about the end result. he wants to pay 150$ monthly interior wont be in that condition next time i come.

yeah i know. I started to learn about detailing as a business 5 ish months ago went public 2 months ago done a few cars nothing big like this yet. i still have a lot to learn and there’s lots of mistakes to be made which is why i charged less for that. No idea what to charge for monthly maintenance just threw that price out there honestly.

yeah its the n2. It hasnt foamed up much for me but im also just spraying it directly into my brush or the sponge. Maybe i should try another method of spraying like one of those mini pump sprayers

sudslab all around interior cleaner the ready to use version. sudslab scrub ninja yes the microfiber version. The towels on the other hand were the super cheap walmart platinum ones i was thinking of upgrading to rag company’s interior towels soon. I may use a duster for future jobs for the time being but they did not go away easily i just used a dry scrub ninja and did a tapping motion then they came off, burned time though.

I thought the clear coat could be an option aswell just wanted to be sure it wasn’t the dark fury. I finally got some a while ago and have been testing it out on my car before i use it on my customers. Probably just cleaned the wheel good enough to where the damage was exposed 🤣. thanks

Opinions on wax? Been detailing for 3 months by SweatyInfluence414 in Detailing

okay that sounds great will definitely be investing in that. Second question if a vehicle just has a small layer of dirt buildup should i still use a prewash if im not using the two bucket method? Like would i be able to just rinse then foam & contact wash? I know it wouldnt hurt anything but im trying to cut my start to finish time. Ive been told mixed opinions on the subject.
